Malaysia Cheque

Insurance company issued a cheque to my brother value of RM20,000. My brother currently is in Australia and his bank account in Malaysia do not have ATM card.

Can I bank in the cheque into his Commonwealth Bank in Australia? either I send over the cheque to him or go to any bank in Malaysia do a foreign Transfer.. possible?

I'm in the midst of surveying for LED TV. Last week I came across CIMB do have promotion on Sony 50W704A Smart TV for RM3000 and within my budget.

Smart or not Smart didnt play an important role here as I seldom use it. If possible for that budget to buy bigger size with more than 200Hz without Smart? If yes, which model?

Who has the authority to make a final call for the salary?

I went for an Interview, the Hiring Manager interviewed me said that my expected should be fine. Few days later, when I emailed and asked him about the status, he said everything is alright, and his boss is fine with it as well.

This morning I received a call from HR saying that my expected is out of their pay range. The Hiring Manager interview me, so he know how much I worth for ... what's the point ask me for interview when they can't offer my expected. The HR asked can I lower my pay, to be precise, the HR offered a salary which is lower than my current and not lower down my expected ...

So in reality, who has the authority?

I want to buy a second hand shophouse where ground floor is a shop and 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor is a house. A small shophouse/shop apartment which is just 600sqf.

I wanted to know, how can we know it's under residential or commercial title?

Deposit refund?

Hi All,

I paid 2% of the deposit to the agent for a subsales Condo (RM250k). Then I go and apply for a loan, but unfortunately the CMV for the condo it's RM190 which I only can loan around 80%.

I do not had so much of the cash to pay downpayment and the SnP, Loan agreement Legal fees which roughly cost RM70k. Since my loan rejected, can I get the deposit refund or it will be forfeit?

Dilemma

I'm Unix Team Lead currently ... I been working for Unix field for 5 years and I started to feel bored and new some career enhancement. I talked to my boss on this, and he give me an opportunity in other field.

He assigned me to Oracle Database Team, and same become Team Lead because if I back to become technical engineer then it considered demote. The problem is, I got no background for Oracle. I know it's a good opportunity but I worried that I can't handle it.

If you were me, what will you do?

This is a dupe account. I don't to use my own account to post is because my ex and his coliq are LYN members. The story happen like this.

I just broke with him Saturday when he dragged me for more than 2 months saying that he wana silent but don't want to break up. Saturday itself, i cant stand anymore and he finally revealed everything that he already be with a gal for more than a month and staying together with her now. Actaully i'm glad that he told me but its hurt. He somemore ask me to wait for him, he will be back 1 day.

And out of sudden, his previous ex (name as "T") call me up and revealed everything that my ex did to "T". Whatever "T" told me actually happen to me too but just that i'm too blind and continue to accept. Till now i m waiting for him! Yesterday phone conversation with him, i still ask him would he give me another chance.

Now the "T" wanted to call up his current gf and let her know the truth of him. He stay at Cheras, but then he told everyone he stay damansara. He just SPM grad, but he told everyone he is degree holder from UK. And he lie alot. A lie cover by a lie. The "T" name him as *******. He even go and stole the "T"'s fren handphone. And also he nvr return any single cents that he borrowed from all his frens. He work in bank, he say help "T" pay credit card.. but end up, statement come there is no payment made (Recently)

When he with "T", he yet to broke with his ex. When he with me, he yet to broke with "T". When he with his current gf, he yet to broke with me. He got no car, when he with his ex, he drive his ex's car but then claim is his car to "T". When he with "T" he bought a car and "T" as guarantor... but he nvr pay even a month. WHen he with me, he use my car. And now, he use his gf car.

He broke with "T" giving lame excuses wana concentrate career.. ask "T" give him 1 year period, he will be back. But then that time he alredy be with me. He broke with "T" because "T" no longer borrow him money. He broke with me also say wana concentrate on work. And it happen when i cut all the financial support towards him.

If "T" go and tell the gf now... do you think his gf will still continue be with him??? Actaully "T" just wana to save this gal from being cheated.
