I'm looking for parts to repair my home speakers.

Do you know which part of Jalan Pasar or Pudu I should concentrate my search on ?

I'm looking for speaker driver rubber surround and a 2.1 bare amplifier (with just the PCB board and components, without enclosure).

I also need a soldering iron kit. Any recommendations on what to get ?

Maybe can point me to where the sellers lurk in LYN's garage sales because I couldn't find them.

Worth going to Penang for Interview ?

Dear /k/,

I am a fresh grad Mech Engineer. I was called up to attend an interview for a NPI Engineer position in a company called Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing (SAM) in Penang.

So far I have found out they are manufacturer of high precision manufacturing and assembly equipments for semi-conductor industry.

I am unsure if it is worth driving from KL to Penang to attend this interview as semi-conductor industry is not my first choice industry. My first choice is OnG but OnG companies hasn't reply to any of my applications yet.

I am wondering what is your thoughts about this company and hoping their employees surfing /k/ can share their experience.

Can a job in this company lead me into OnG job because I hoping to gain experience from this company before chasing the green paper.

I want a job that helps me gain the most Engineering knowledge and help me open more pathways in future.

I got a few question regarding house renovation

1. What is the usual costs of paving cement on the ground outside the house ? The area size is around 1 meter x 2.5 meter.

I was quoted RM3.8k for this including some small jobs inside the house. Contractors are welcome to PM their quotation.

2. What is the location of shops that sell bathroom appliances ? I am looking to buy shower heater like those in the pic below.

I have seen people doing it in Msia job fair but not sure if it is necessary.
