Surely, amidst of this tariff war between Tiong Kok and US, many suppliers will be hit hard and looking to dispose their large qty of luxury goods somewhere else.

It’s Saturday morning and I’m waking up to news of devastation in Myanmar and Bangkok… prayers to all the victims and hope the heavens will alleviate their sufferings and keep casualties as minimal as possible.

Ever since the Acheh tsunami, we have never witnessed a catastrophic earthquake so close to home so I can’t help but to ponder, what if a 7.8 magnitude hits Kuala Lumpur or Kota Bharu now?

1) will Malaysians pull their strength together and set their differences aside in the face of tragedy to help each other in need?

2) do you foresee widespread looting in KL?

3) How Will the government and politicians react? Do they have any agencies or sufficient relief funds to prepare themselves for natural disasters of this magnitude? Will the aid get songlapped?

4) How will condo prices in KL react to this?

5) From teh religious point of view, will Mass citizens see this as a Bala or retribution for our failings to tackle corruption? Or it will be redho’ed completely.
