Hi Techies.

Recently my basic green Aztech modem got fried by lightning when I was out. But the router is still okay, most probably okay.

I bought a new modem, also from Aztech.
I got the wires connected correctly from modem to router and from router to network card port.

But after resetting my router, I cannot get connected to the internet.

When I try to connect to websites it gives me this link: www.routerlogin.com/welcome.
I am required to set up my router, fine.
But on the 3rd step they cannot detect what kind of connection I am using.

Now I am using the modem directly connected to the CPU.

My question is, how do I set up my router?

Old Modem: Aztech DSL600EU
Router: NETGEAR 54Mbps Wireless Router WGR614 v6
New Modem: Aztech ADSL2+ DSL605E

All the lights that are connected to something are perfectly on.

Please help me thank you, my siblings need to use the internet too
