Who are Novitas?
We are an oceanic based guild comprised of mature players with varying backgrounds, all brought together by our enjoyment of raiding. Our highest achievement pre-bc was clearing 2/6 SWP before the 3.0 patch (and all BC raid content before it). Having cleared all 25man T7 content (including Sarth +3), we are looking forward to exploring T8 soon.

Novitas take their raiding seriously but also know how to have a good time.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for players that are innovative with their class. Passionate about raiding and have a desire to work closely in a team environment.
We consider proven experience to be a plus, although not essential for the right applicant. If you lack experience, then tell us about your class knowledge. Do you have an exceptional arena history? Basically tell us who you are and what you want from the game. SELL YOURSELF!!!
During progression periods, you would be expected to dedicate yourself to the guilds agenda more so than usual, raiding up to four nights a week until content is clear. At which point, we revert back to our farm calendar.

wed / thurs / sun / (& mondays during progression periods)

20:15invites - 23:30 finish (with potential 15minute overtime as required, during progression periods).

Lagging Lately?

Anyone getting terrible lag lately when playing WoW? Called Streamyx and they told me its cable problems etc... Wonder if its just another case of the idiotic operators blaming their shortcomings on unrelated problems or anything.

Gamepath Problem

This problem started last week for me. Basically I get latency spikes in Naxxramas 25man only on boss fights, and only in the instance.. I go into every other instance in the game, 10/25 Vault of Archavon, 10/25 Malygos, and 10 Naxxramas, I don't get this problem.

I've been browsing thru Gamepath forums and they recommended swapping from Sockscap to Freecap, which I did, and the problem remains. Swapping gate servers does not change anything. Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

Vent Issues

I've been having this problem in vent where I get massive latency whenever I connect to my guild's vent server. Other servers I connect to has minimal lag, and my malaysian guildies say they're not lagging when connected to the server. It could be a problem from my side, so..... Anyone knows how to fix this?

WoW Account Suspended

This problem happened to me 7 times already so far, where I get suspended mid game. This is the email that Blizzard sent to me:

For those people who aren't familiar with this problem, this is an automatic Blizzard response that suspends a player's account when an IP from another country logs into the game while the account is active. IE, I'm playing from Malaysia, then suddenly someone login my acc from China, the server see the IP has a different country ID, then automatically suspends the account.

So far, the only clue I have to this problem is that WoWTunnels or any similar services are causing it. Usually happens in a CC too, but I have friends saying it happened to them at home as well. I noticed this when me and about 6 other friends are playing WoW(without tunnels) for almost 3 hours without any problems, when 2 people opened login to WoW with tunnels and from that point onward, all 8 of us got suspended, along with a few other people who have been playing WoW in the cafe in the past couple of hours but have already logged out.

Anyone else got this issue too, and know how to fix it?
