I know its a kpop boyband but dunno what kind of magic pour to my dotter la, crazy obsessed these few months, always open their music, mv, talking about them in our dinners, every little detail like their hobby etc. i was like wtf....

she says its normal, all her peeps also the same, her classmates also the same (she has like 5 korean gals in her class, int school), everyday topic is to talk about enhypen this n enhypen that.

we're going to tokyo for a month in starting mid dec then my 12yrs old dotter just find out this boyband having a concert in fukuoka at 28 dec, she begging me to bring her to fukuoka to watch them (meaning i am forced to attend also)...

Rolex, unlike many other watch manufacturers in the luxury segment, does not publish any figures on production.

But in the first Rolex-authorized book about the history of the Submariner watch, the author is including the exact production number of each Rolex Submariner, Sea-Dweller and Deepsea variant. The book will be made available for international purchase starting on Oct. 1st at ACC Art Books and at major retailers in the U.S. on Oct. 28.

With 646,613 examples, the 16610 takes the crown as the most produced Submariner followed not by the no-date variant, but by the 116610LN, at 414,905. The least produced Submariner was the 116649EMBR, an 18-ct white-gold version with an emerald and diamond-set bezel, at 51 examples.

The 116610LV “Hulk” was produced almost twice as much as the 16610LV “Kermit,” 228,710 and 128,835, respectively.

Another interesting data is how much more popular the Submariner with a date complication is, likely a reason lovers of the brand have renamed the Submariner Date simply “Submariner.”

When comparing steel versions only, the date reference 16610 was produced almost three times more than its no-date counterpart, the 14060 (combined with 14060M production numbers). About the same production ratio is found when comparing the 114060 to the 116610LN, 153,437 and 414,905, respectively.

Rolex said this book “is the first in a series of titles exploring the brand’s unique watches.” Subsequent titles could tell us more about production data, including for the Daytona and the GMT-Master.

BERAK:SQ321 declares emergency, 1 dead many injure

At least one person has died and several others have been injured after a plane from London experienced severe turbulence.

A passenger on the Singapore Airlines flight reportedly died and 20 others were injured on a flight from London to Singapore this afternoon forcing an emergency landing in Thailand.

The Boeing 777 plane left the UK on Monday evening at 22:17 local time. However, flight SQ321 reportedly experienced severe turbulence while entering airspace in the region, which is currently experiencing extreme tropical thunderstorms.

The plane registered 9V-SWM was diverted to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok where it made an emergency landing shortly before 4pm local time. It had been scheduled to land at the Singapore Changi Airport at 6:10 pm local time.

Ambulances were pictured on the tarmac next to the plane. Local media reported that one passenger had died and around 20 others were injured, leading to the emergency landing.

Finally attended Utada's concert at HK, she has 2 shows in HK, i went to both, too bad video recording is strictly prohibited unlike most concerts, guess she just want the audience to enjoy and focus on her singing.

she performed really well on the first night, totally out of my expectation! 2nd night she seems to be a bit tired, but the audience was great and she manage to back in form after first few set and scored it in the end.

i was staying in marriott which is next to the venue, surprising like 75% of the hotel guests are going to the concert also, met a lot of interesting fans around the world there

finally this is dream come true for me, being a fan for 25 yrs & manage to see her singing live in her best form.

With Apple Inc.’s stock coming off its poorest quarterly performance relative to the S&P 500 Index in over a decade, traders are looking for signs that the worst may be over.

The 12% drop since the start of the year paid off for short sellers, giving them an incentive to unwind their bets. Technical analysts say the stock is flirting with levels where dip-buyers are likely to swoop in. And the lagging run may make Apple look cheap compared with the other big tech companies.

The Princess of Wales says she is in the early stages of treatment after cancer was found in tests.

In a video statement, Catherine says it was a "huge shock" after an "incredibly tough couple of months".

But she sent a positive message, saying: "I am well and getting stronger every day."

Details of the cancer have not been disclosed, but Kensington Palace says it is confident the princess will make a full recovery.

The princess's statement explains that when she had abdominal surgery in January, it was not known that there was any cancer.

"However tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment," said the princess.

The chemotherapy treatment began in late February. The palace says it will not be sharing any further private medical information, including the type of cancer.

The princess, 42, said she was thinking of all those who have been affected by cancer, adding: "For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone."

Catherine said recovery from her surgery in January, for a condition which has not been revealed, had taken time and the priority was now reassuring her family.

"William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."

The princess added: "It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok."

She said the family now needs "some time, space and privacy".

The King and Queen had been informed of the news about the princess's health prior to Friday's announcement - and King Charles himself has also been undergoing treatment for cancer.

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will engage with Google over the latter’s “inaccurate” reporting of the ringgit exchange rate against the US dollar (USD) yesterday.

The central bank said the exchange rate of RM4.98 to US$1 as quoted by Google does not reflect the actual trading.

“As this is the second instance of misreporting, BNM will be engaging Google for an explanation of how the inaccurate reporting occurred and the corrective measures taken given that this is a recurring issue that has afflicted Malaysia and other countries in the past few months,” BNM said in a statement.

Referring to the first incident of misreporting by Google on Feb 6, the central bank said it had issued a “stern” warning letter to the company at that time.

“The exchange rate is a market-sensitive data and any inaccurate reporting and circulation of unverified data can cause serious implications on financial markets,” BNM said.

It added that, yesterday, the ringgit to USD exchange rate was quoted at RM4.7015 at 9am and RM4.7045 at 5pm, with an intraday high of RM4.7075 in the onshore interbank market for ringgit, as published on the BNM website.

The ringgit has strengthened against the greenback by 0.76% since the beginning of March, it said.

(March 7): Malaysia’s international reserves fell nearly 1% as of Feb 29 from a fortnight earlier, the central bank said on Thursday.
Latest foreign exchange reserves totalled US$114.3 billion compared with US$115.4 billion on Feb 15, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said in a statement.

The position is sufficient to finance 5.4 months of imports of goods and services, and is one time the total short-term external debt, it added.
