Australia accident.. what would you do?

Hi guys,

Would really appreciate your advice or thoughts here. sorry if its too long.. needed to tell the whole story..

In short, wife's car (civic) hit another infront (Mazda 2 Neo). It was a light touch with no damage, mental note: my wife was driving alone and my wife was too scared, unfortunately didnt take any pictures of the accident. Mazda's driver couldnt see any damages then. But at night sms to say he noticed a dent. Thought we could settle the side if its a small dent. It was his wife's car, said will call me back but didnt. 3 months later i got a letter that he is claiming my insurance. He changed his whole bumper. It cost me AUD1.6k. Cant claim insurance because excess is AUD1k and it will affect my premium on my working truck too.

Story goes like this:
My wife met in an accident end of January 2018. She is the driver of a white Honda Civic and was driving along Highbury Rd turning left into Springvale Rd. In anticipation to drive into Springvale Rd, she released her foot from the brake paddle and moved forward. She hit a red Mazda 2 Neo in front, she reversed her car a little and both occupants came down to inspect.
There were no noticeable damages at that point, she also noticed their cars were aligned and she hit his number plate with her car. She provided her details to the driver a guy from the red Mazda 2 Neo. She failed to obtain his details and failed to take picture of the accident. They both drove off after.

Here is the kicker.
My wife said it was merely a car plate hitting another. no acceleration whatsoever. and since there was no dent to begin with, probably thats why there were no pictures taken. The guy didnt take any pictures too apparently. So i felt weird. i rang his insurer and obtained the pictures from the repair shop.

The dent was on the top right side of the bumper.... This now doesnt make sense... there are two dents now and the bigger one seemed self-inflicted. Also the front of the civic is way too low to make a dent as such.. i drove around my area and to the mazda show room. aligned my car behind two exact models and wowwww... its wayyyyyy below the bumper of the mazda 2 neo.. and it would be sooo impossible to make such a dent.

i am finding these insects crawling on my face and my wife's phone. like one to two insects a day. dunno where its coming from.

anyone knows what insects this is? its super tiny... cant find much on the internet..

i tried googling resembles this. any clue? need to go spring clean my room d.. wash and sun dry my sheets.

I got an offer frm a telco co. Im currently employed by a chemical co. Doing corporate finance stuff. My jump is about 50% incl bonus. My current co dont give bonus. Pay petrol 4 others with CC

ok here is the story. i signed up for HLE wise CC. to get 10% cash back i need to make min 10 transactions rm50 each for two categories (excl. phone bill payments).

so i'd figured its not so simple to make 10 transactions a month. hence i thought of another way round.. pumping petrol for people at the petrol stations.. ill get rm50 frm them in exchange i give them rm52 worth of petrol. tats about an extra litre.. which to me is a win win situation for both of us.

sadly the petrol station i attempted to do it with (after successfully pumping one car) came to me and told me off.. saying because of me thy will get extra charged of 1% which i understand.. so i offered to reimburse them back. thy tak mao.. but thn again.. can they refuse my mode of payment for their customers? its between me and the one who pumps the petrol. nothing to do with the petrol station also right? wat if the customer already intended to pay using CC. i'm just helping them get more out of each pump..

wats ur opinion????

maybe most of you know i had this problem yesterday.

i went back to hin leong tyre shop to get two tyres to replace the front. and the above tyres i put behind. apparently the shop assistant said no problem can still use..

anyways back to my alignment story. everytime i send for alignment.. the machine always shows a negative chamber.. less thn 1 degree.. say -0.7 somthin.. and thy always tell me the same story. u need to hv a little bit of chamber.. or cant exactly be zero. i mean if u can tweak the numbers why u cant adjust to zero.

the last time i had took tat story. my tyres ended up balded in the inner area (due to negative chamber).. and now with new tyres... i hope tat dont happen cause it would mean changing my tyres prematurely due to uneven wear and tear.

now.. why cant the alignment people jus adjust everything to zero.. chamber, caster and toe....

i try to reason with the alignment people but usually i dont want to push to many questions incase thy get irritated.

but thn again i dont want my tyres to suffer cause of their "usual practice".. i'm only afraid thy are doing this to wearoff ur tyres fast enuff to make u change for a new sets.

any critical opinions?

This morning i found out my tyre had a nail sticking out of it .. had to bring it to the workshop to had it done.

unfortunately. i recently purchased this tyres which is less than a month old. zzzzzzzzzz

problem now is. this nail is considered shoulder towards sidewall. which in most cases people normally say cannot repair la.. dangerous... but i need your input.. can it be saved? i dont really drive tat fast.. max also 120.. it costs me a bomb to install this new tyre..
