[RESOLVED] Volume C: is dirty

So my Less than 2 year old son walked into my room and decided to press the computer power button while it was running. Now the computer runs a disc check every time I restart / start up the computer. After doing some research on how to fix the issue, i ran a fsutil check and the result was: Volume C: is dirty. Ran disc check in recovery mode but found no problem, ran fsutil check and it is still dirty.

Please help.

Good day people, I'm looking to upgrade/improve my network setup at home. I'm subscribed to Unifi living in a double story terrace with my unifi black cylinder router placed downstairs near the TV and my main PC with onboard wifi 6 setup at the upper floor in one of the smaller rooms. I'm pretty new to all this home network thing and just recently doing research and found out about wifi 6.

Any advice on how I should setup my home network? Do I need a mesh for upstairs? The current router that got my attention right now are the Asus tuf ax3000 and asus rt ax86u ax5700(are this overkill router)

I realised that my download speed is slower than upload. Is that normal?

How to connect argb fans to only 1 argb header

Good day people, this is my first pc build and I've come to a halt on how to connect 6 argb fans into 1 argb header on the MB. The items in reference are:
cooler master masterbox td500 mesh(3 argb fans at the front panel, this fans are connected to a 3 way pwm splitter and 3 way argb splitter)

asus strix b550 f gaming (2 rgb header & 1 argb header)

cooler master sickleflow mf120 3 in 1 (still in transit)

MW2 > Black Ops?

I was at first shocked to heard this. I mean from what I know little or what I think is that black ops is better balance compare to MW2's excessive explosives, Killstreak stacking and g18 akimbo madness, and commando fags.

I watch alot of youtube videos and I realise that Black-Ops videos are not getting crazy numbers of view like how MW2 did last year. The Avg views that Black-Ops gets is around 30,000+ views or 100,000+ if the commentator is famous. Where as the avg MW2 views is 500,000+.

I know you shouldn't judge a game base on youtube views but I just can't help but wonder if that relates to the topic. What do you guys think? For those that played both MW2 and Black Ops what are your thoughts?

NOTE: THIS IS NOT ABOUT WHICH GAME IS BETTER! ITS WHAT YOU FIND TO BE MORE ENJOYABLE.

Unable to Install Win 7 on a GPT partition

I'm trying to reformat my computer with a fresh install of Win 7 on another partition(different HDD) while my current OS is still on a system disc. When I try to install win 7 on the new partition, I get an error saying that win7 cannot be install on a gpt style partition. How do I remedy that?

HDD number 1: 1 TB capacity

C: win vista
D: program files
E: Backup files

HDD number 2: 1 TB capacity

G: empty
H: empty

I'm trying to install Win 7 on to G drive and format HDD number 1, unfortunately I'm not allow to install win 7 onto G as it says that it's a GPT style partition:

"Windows cannot be installed to Disk X Partition X (show details)" - clicking on "show details" gave me "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style."

Reading and googling around tells me that it has something to do with my 1 + 1 TB HDD and win7 does not support bla bla bla "EFI" traditional bios bla bla bla cause I have 2TB of HDD space!

I hope i can borrow this thread to ask some questions that's some what similar to TS's situation.

After a power trip, I decided to restart my computer and disc check automatically started after it fail to boot-up at it's usually speed. From the disc check I found there is a 4kb of bad sector on my C: drive. I've not run any other error check on my other HDD but it seems that one of my games that is installed in D: drive is affected after the power trip.

I was wondering if there is any way for me to do a full system check on my computer (hardware) to see if there is anything else affected from the power trip; I'm worried that there could be other stuff in my computer besides the HDD is affected.

What are my options for the "bad sectored" HDD? Discard it? Use it as backup only?

Is COD4 community still alive?

Got a very nagging question stucked in my head for a very long time and I must get this off my chest:

Are players still active in COD4 in this part of the region(MY & SG)? Or have the number of players drop tremendously that they have gone to play some other games like MW2 and BF:BC2? Or have they all turned sissy and start to play with the Wii (joking, joking )?

Though on Xfire shows that COD4 clocks in the 2nd highest amount of time after WoW? I'm quite skeptical as I believe that most of this hours are clocked in by hardcore COD4 gamers that plays for competition and tournaments.

Obviously by looking at my sig you know that I need to improve my K/D ratio.

The question is how. I play mostly Medic, engineer and assault.

So as a medic, I let the others do the shooting most of the time and run around throwing med kits and rezzing teammates.

LCD monitor or GPU problem

Hey guys I'm not sure it its my LCD monitor or GPU is at fault here. I find myself looking at distorted videos/graphics when there are very fast moving scenes like flashing of light in horror games, fast action scenes etc etc.

It's hard to describe it in words but I will try. During this fast moving videos/game graphic, I will see "lines" across the monitor like someone cut the picture and didn't glue it on the screen properly(alil out of shape). It happens only in games and none when I'm watching a movie.

I'm LCD monitor is a Samsung 2333sw & my GPU is a GTX 260 216sp by Galaxy.

Which ISP for online gaming?

Hi guyz, I've haven't had internet connection since year 1999~ when i cancel my Jaring dail-up subscription. I'm in desperate need of a good and stable broadband. My main usage will be for:

1. Online Gaming not MMORPGs but multiplayers like TeamFortress 2, L4D, etc.
2. Download games from Steam.
3. Stream Videos
4. Spamming in LYN, Facebook,
5. Reading news online

Which ISP should i subscribe? BTW, i juz moved to a new place and im not sure if there is a phone line. But TMNet still send bills under the previous tenant's name.

I heard that wireless BroadBand is not suitable for gaming as the connection get "hiccups" occasionally?

Is 1mbps fast enough for online gaming?

If this helps, I'm staying in Johor Bahru.
