Currently I designed a webapp that allows for part entry and databasing across multiple levels. Each part has main category -> Sub-category->Part number and is stored as so in the database.

Now I want to be able to add parts to a BOM and store that BOM in the database as well. My idea is to do a shopping cart inspired code where I add parts to the BOM 1 by 1 and save the BOM to the database. Any suggestions to how I should encode/serialize the data for easy storage?

Are there other approaches that are more suitable?

So, any guys/gals here having to face hair loss at an early stage in life?

I am in my early 30's and losing my hair. Honestly I don't really feel that bad about it, but my wife keeps telling me that I should do something about it. I told her quite frankly that I have seen multiple specialists and they confirmed with me that it is genetic male pattern baldness and there really is no permanent solution, at least in Malaysia, just some expensive treatments to delay the hair loss.

Does anyone else face the same issue where they face pressure from family? I guess my wife thinks my head shape will not suit being bald XD.

So I usually ship my parcels to my workplace since I'm at there more than at home. I just ordered two second hand books from a seller and he shipped to my office from overseas. At that time the package arrive I was at the computer lab but when I got back I found out that the person sitting next to me opened the parcel and look inside.

WTF? Is he allowed to do this? How should I go and confront him ler zzzz....

Seriously, all I had was to install classic shell and I get much better performance than XP/7.

My boot times have been under 10 seconds cold boot with a SSD. Even with close to 30 programs and 10 games installed.

The controls are very similar to what I used in windows 7. Even my game fps's have gone up by 4-5%.

My VPN and torrents work fine. And the upgrade from win 7 to win 8.1 was done in an hour. No idea why so many ppl hating on win 8.
