"Duit rakyat." Two words. Drop them into any argument in Malaysia, and suddenly everyone's an economist.

Syihabudin Ahmad is upset. The Rain Rave Water Festival in KL used public money. He is "tidak redha." Not okay with it. Fair enough.. citizens have every right to question how the government spends. That's democracy. But here's the thing. When you're going to be outraged, at least bring some numbers along for the ride.

The festival drew around 180,000 visitors over three days. Tourism revenue generated? More than RM200 million. That's not a guess. That's a return. Local traders in Bukit Bintang who normally earn between RM500 and RM800 on a typical weekend were suddenly pulling in RM2,500 to RM4,000 per day. Those are real ringgit going to real Malaysians... hawkers, drivers, hotel staff, security guards. The kind of people who never appear in moral outrage posts.

And the reach? 1.4 billion clicks across global social media platforms. Try buying that kind of exposure for Malaysia's tourism brand. You can't. Not for any price that would make Syihabudin happy.

But let's set the numbers aside for a moment. Because the real question isn't about this festival. It's about which spending gets the outrage... and which doesn't. Ok, let me see...

Nobody seemed "tidak redha" when public funds went to Jelajah programmes that were basically feel-good roadshows. Nobody raised their voice about the countless government-organised events... seminars, conventions, motivational camps.... that produced zero economic return and zero international visibility. Events that existed mainly to justify an allocation in a budget document somewhere. Those are fine, apparently. Water and music? Haram.

Then there's the tax question. And this one stings a little. Corporate income tax alone makes up nearly 50% of Malaysia's total tax revenue. Who owns the majority of those businesses? The Chinese community has historically dominated private sector corporate ownership and income generation. As former PM Tun Mahathir himself once acknowledged publicly... most of the taxes are probably from Chinese businesses, and much of the wealth of Malaysia is due to the Chinese. The Indians too, punching well above their demographic weight. Chinese and Indian earners remain significantly overrepresented in the top income brackets compared to their population share, which means they're paying more taxes, proportionally.

So when someone says "duit rakyat"... yes. Correct. It is the rakyat's money. All the rakyat's. Including the ones who go to music festivals and don't find anything wrong with getting wet in Bukit Bintang on a public holiday.

The word "tidak redha" is doing a lot of work in that post. It sounds pious. It sounds communal. What it actually is... is an emotion dressed up as an argument. And emotions, no matter how sincerely felt, don't tell you whether RM200 million in tourism revenue is a good use of public money or a bad one.

Malaysia can't move forward on vibes alone. We need to start telling the difference between spending that earns and spending that simply disappears... and have that conversation honestly, without the racial dog whistle wrapped inside the piety.

SHOCKING phenomenal as Iran finally gets some rain after bombing all US satellites across the region. The Persians have finally revealed the hidden secret motives behind US military bases and it's installations worldwide. One month after Iran attacked US military bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Israel, and Jordan, the country is witnessing a miracle: it's raining after six years of drought. Dams are now overflowing. Kenya should be concerned because it's tendencies of inviting foreign militaries on our land must be considered harmful. It's not in our interests.

It has emerged that US military installations in the Middle East were not just for air defense but also served as tools for weather manipulation in the atmosphere, on land, or in space. Independent observers have supported this claim, especially after Turkey and Syria experienced devastating earthquakes in 2023 allegedly caused by HAARP. It's feared that, the US HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) system in Alaska controls weather patterns and triggers natural disasters. Although located far away, its waves can reportedly reach the Middle East & Africa.

Remember, Kenya has given out land for military bases to the same US and it's allies after they were expelled from five West African countries and the Middle East. In West Africa, they were accused of supporting terrorist groups like ISIS and Islamic herders from northern Sahel. Kenya has long faced cattle rustling, which has surged after Batuk, NRT, and other white-owned conservancies, supported by the UN, US, and UK governments, illegally acquired large tracts of land in the Northrift. Not forgetting mysterious forest fires, increased terrorist activities and various natural or man-made disasters.

All these confusing and mysterious events happening in Kenya appear to be by design , subtle, yet consistent actions by people with long-term evil plans for the country. They seem to be using every strategy to control Kenyans and their resources. Yet our leaders are busy shouting Wantam and Tutam. #$¥€NZ?$@N@

16 peluru berpandu Iran dihala ke arah kapal US

TEHERAN – Kor Pasukan Pengawal Revolusi Islam Iran (IRGC) dilaporkan telah mengunci 16 peluru berpandu kruis ke arah kapal perang Amerika Syarikat (AS) dalam satu insiden tegang di Selat Hormuz minggu lalu sebelum kapal-kapal tersebut berundur secara tergesa-gesa.

Menurut laporan eksklusif Press TV, maklumat baharu itu diperoleh hasil siasatan susulan terhadap konfrontasi yang berlaku pada 11 April lalu di laluan perairan strategik berkenaan.

Siasatan tersebut mendapati dua kapal pemusnah Tentera Laut AS, USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) dan USS Frank E. Peterson (DDG 121), gagal mematuhi amaran awal yang dikeluarkan oleh pasukan laut Iran.

Susulan itu, Tentera Laut IRGC bertindak mengunci sebanyak 16 peluru berpandu kruis ke arah kedua-dua kapal berkenaan.

Menurut laporan sama, pihak Iran turut memberi amaran bahawa peluru berpandu akan dilancarkan sekiranya kapal-kapal tersebut tidak berundur dari Selat Hormuz dalam tempoh beberapa minit.

Difahamkan, pihak tentera AS yang percaya serangan bakal dilancarkan telah meminta penangguhan selama 15 minit daripada pasukan Iran.

Tempoh itu dipercayai digunakan untuk memaklumkan situasi genting kepada pihak atasan mereka serta mendapatkan arahan lanjut.

Situasi tegang tersebut berlangsung kurang daripada sejam, sebahagian besarnya disebabkan tindakan menahan diri oleh pihak Iran sebelum kapal pemusnah AS berundur dengan pantas dari kawasan itu. – Agensi

1. Ada orang yang dakwa bahawa yang memecah-belah orang Melayu ialah saya.

2. Memang benar saya keluar dari UMNO kerana UMNO sudah menyeleweng – berjuang untuk wang dan bukan untuk bangsa, negara dan agama.

3. Saya keluar dari UMNO untuk tubuh parti Melayu supaya mereka yang kecewa dengan UMNO dibawah Najib kepada parti Bersatu yang ditubuh. Ini akan mengekal orang Melayu dalam satu parti yang mengganti UMNO.

4. Tetapi ramai orang UMNO pilih untuk kekal dalam UMNO.

5. Ramai yang tuduh saya memecah-belah orang
Melayu.

14. Maka berpecahlah orang Melayu. Jika majoriti mereka sertai Bersatu maka perpecahan dikalangan orang Melayu tidak akan berlaku.

15. Jika Bersatu tidak ditubuh perpecahan akan berlaku juga kerana terdapat beberapa parti lain ditubuh. Dengan menyertai parti-parti lain ini orang Melayu terus berpecah.

16. UMNO menang lawan British dahulu bukan kerana namanya UMNO. Kemenangan orang Melayu dahulu kerana mereka bersatu dalam UMNO.

17. Jika pada masa itu banyak parti ditubuh maka orang Melayu akan berpecah. Mereka tidak mungkin kalahkan British.

18. Hari ini pun bukan parti UMNO yang memberi kekuatan kepada orang Melayu. Yang memberi kekuatan ialah perpaduan.

19. Sebab itu Payung Besar ditubuh supaya semua orang Melayu berada dalam satu organisasi. Dan mereka mungkin menang PRU.

7. Now Ukraine wants peace. But Russia demands a big price. Both cannot give way.

8. And the war will go on with no gain for anyone.

9. That is why this is a silly war. No one gains anything.

10. But more people will die, be wounded and displaced.

11. Ukraine has lost its freedom. Russia has to pay a high price.

12. Europe is economically impoverished.

13. Even the U.S. gains nothing as it is unable to open Hormuz.

14. Even America has not succeeded in its war against Iran.

15. Yet peaceful negotiations would yield the same result.

The Melaka Sultanate never made big ships themselves!
Why? Because all their big ships were bestowed by Ming Dynasty emperor.
The first gifted large ship (in 1411):
According to the Ming Shilu (明實錄), the delegation of the King of Melaka, Parameswara, travelled to China in 1411 by joining the ships of Zheng He’s fleet, which numbered about 540 people, heading to Nanjing, the capital of China at that time. This took place during Zheng He’s return voyage, when his armada stopped at Melaka. The Chinese emperor bestowed a ship upon the Melaka's delegation as they returned to Melaka.
The second gifted ship (in 1445):
In 1445, during the reign of Sultan Abu Syahid, envoys from Melaka went to pay tribute to the Chinese emperor. According to the Ming Shi (明史), it records: ‘從人多, 乞賜一巨舟，以便遠涉，帝悉從之’ — meaning that because their delegation was getting larger, they petitioned His Imperial Majesty of China to grant them a large ship to facilitate long-distance voyages. After learning of this request, the Chinese emperor agreed and bestowed a large ship upon them.

We, The M40 Malaysians, Are Being Squeezed To Death

You (the system) keep pumping money to help them produce the next generation of mat rempit, mat pengemis, mat drug, mat tongkat, and professional victims.

At the same time you choke us — the very people who could produce doctors, engineers, scientists, taxpayers, and real assets for this country.

And then these same people have the audacity to tell us:

“Bersyukurlah” — while they themselves never know what gratitude means.

“Kongsi rezeki lah” — but they refuse to lift a finger to help themselves.

“Kasihanilah kami” — yet the moment any of us M40 succeed, they burn with dengki and curse us as “kaya haram”.

Imagine this: a husband and wife both earning RM3,000 each — total household income RM6,000 a month — and we are already classified as M40.

Is this insane or what?

RM3,000 in 2025 is nothing.

The average fresh graduate starts life automatically in the M40 bracket.

We’re not rich. We can barely eat properly, let alone save or enjoy life.

Yet every time we complain, the same toxic WALAUN line comes:

“Be grateful. If RM6,000 isn’t enough for you, how are the B40 supposed to survive?”

Our turn to ask:

If the M40 must “be grateful”, why doesn’t the same rule apply to the B40?

They receive:

Zakat and religious tithes
Cash aid from JKM and countless NGOs
Heavily subsidised rice, cooking oil, electricity, fuel
Politicians fighting to be their hero
Constant media sympathy and viral sob stories

And us, the urban M40?

We pay full taxes.

We qualify for almost zero government aid.

We support ageing parents above us and young children below us.

Food, housing, petrol, toll, insurance, school fees — everything is skyrocketing.

Why “M40 earns more than B40” is an unfair and dishonest comparison

Urban M40 face KL/Selangor/Penang living costs — rent alone can be RM1,800–2,500.

Rural B40 can own a kampung house with RM200–400 monthly commitment (or none at all).

M40 carry car loans, housing loans, personal loans at commercial rates.

A huge chunk of rural B40 and pensioners have little or no debt.

M40 fresh grads start with RM3,000–3,500 salary → auto M40 → zero eligibility for Bantuan Sara Hidup, mySalam extra coverage, etc.

A pensioner getting RM2,000 civil-service pension + free medical is still classified B40 and keeps all the aid.

A mat rempit earning RM2,500–3,500 with no children, no parents to support, living in a kampung house, paying RM50 electricity → B40, gets subsidies.

An M40 teacher + teacher couple earning RM6,500 combined with two kids and parents’ medical bills → no aid at all.

We are not asking to be millionaires.

We are asking to breathe.

Yet every budget adds more handouts for selected B40 groups while the urban M40 — the real tax-paying, loan-repaying, parent-supporting backbone — are left to drown.

The result?

Fertility rates in Kelantan and Terengganu still above 2.1, national average falling to 1.6 and still dropping — because the ones who can least afford children are the urban middle class.

While the “walaun” breed comfortably — 5, 6, 7 kids — living on zakat, subsidies, politician handouts , and endless aid packages…

We, the urban M40, are dying under bills, loans, taxes, and school fees.

Every time we speak up, we are lectured:

“Be grateful. M40 earns more than B40, so you should sacrifice.”

Stop with the dishonest comparisons (KL rent & loans vs kampung pensioner, family of five vs single mat rempit).

We don’t hate the poor.

We hate a system that punishes those who try to stand on their own feet and rewards those who refuse to even try.

We are the generation that pays the bills, the loans, and the taxes so that others can keep breeding the next wave of mat rempit, professional beggars, and society’s burdens.

And when we speak up, we’re told to “share our fortune” and “be grateful”.

Share until we ourselves cannot survive?

That’s not charity. That’s slow murder.

PMX Anwar screams every day “Lawan mahakaya! Lawan kroni!”

But it is us — the M40 stuck in the middle — who keep getting stabbed in the chest and back, again and again.

Yang kaya ada pound sterling , yang walaun dapat bantuan , kita di tengah - tengah pula mati kebuluran.

We are not kaya.

Most months we cannot even afford roti kaya.
