Brake Noise

Hi all sifu, need recommendations on what i should do next. I have a facelifted Honda Accord and the car now clocking 10K mileage. My car making ngiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ngiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii noise when braking (Check the attached youtube video). Asked Uncle Google and look like a well known issue without permanent solution. I have returned to Honda Service Center thrice and everytime they just told me brake pad uneven/stone chip/rotor unven. The problem returned after one or two days.

Any sifu or Honda experts here can share what can i do to fix it? What option do i have?

Not sure if this is the correct channel to ask but please correct me if i am wrong.

I have bought an old terrace house few years back and have go through all the legal procedure. Everything is fine but there is one problem that worrying me all this while. The ex-tenant/owner's mail. A lot of them. At first we thought they might need some time to change their mailing address. After more than 5 years passed and we noticed they still not doing anything about it. We start to worried as there are some people from lawyer/banking/finance/insurance to look for the ex-owner. We have tried many time to tell them the person they looking is no longer tenant here but still coming back. We tried to contact the ex-owner but he doesn't care. Next thing i did is to open all the banking letter which with urgent notice. I found out the ex-owner have a lot of loans. Not only him, his sons, daughters, son in law and etc all using my address as mailing address. Credit card loan, car loan, business loan, personal loan... . All expired and default. Big sum small sum. You name it they have it. What should i do? What can i do about it?

Compaq Laptop windows installation freeze

Hi all,

Anyone experienced laptop will freeze/hang during windows 7 installation loading? It randomize freeze, sometime at selecting drive, sometime stuck at "windows setup" screen. I cant get the windows installation done. More details below;

Laptop model: Compaq CQ40-131TU
Hard disk: Empty now.

Solution tried:
1. Reseated memory.
2. Reseated HDD.
3. Hard reset/BIOs reset
4. Changed multiple installation DVD from different sources.
5. Tried Ubuntu and windows vista.
6. Booting from USB for windows 7.
7. Tried external USB mouse/Keyboard.

All failed.

Anyone have any idea of this laptop behavior?

Replacing flywheel oil seal

Wanna ask all sifu here about changing flywheel oil seal. My city have oil leak and nearby mechanic told me that flywheel oil seal need to be replaced.

May i know;

1. Whats the impact if i delay the replacement one or two weeks as the mechanic say need 1 working day for replacement? I need car this week. The leakage roughly 1~2 teaspoons over night.

2. What is the market price? They quote me RM500+ including labour and parts.

3. Any different or necessarily to send back to honda SC beside cost? (afraid they cant handle the internal part)

Please advise.

Going to renew the dog license and found below requirement;

vii. Salinan pengesahan oleh Doktor Veterinar yang bertauliah bahawa anjing dikembiri/mandul (bagi maksud baka Mongreal atau mix-breed)

I live around Selayang and i guess i need to renew it at MPS. Can anyone let me know what they mean? Only mix-breed need to "dimandulkan" or all dog?

Pity my dog. Is it a must?

PC random shutdown

Hi All,

I have an old rig which still kicking last week. Only until recently the pc randomly shutdown and sometime reboot itself. NO BSOD, no event log on windows, no errors.... NOTHING. Early stage still bootable but i just ignore it bcoz too busy recently.

Here the old specs;

AMD 955BE AM3 socket (slightly overclock when gaming. 3.2Ghz >>> 3.8Ghz, temp around 27-45 full loaded)
Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H.
1xNvidia 8800GTS G92 512MB
3x200GB harddisk (no raid)
1x128SDD
1xcreative sound blaster
4x2GB 800Mhz DDR2 RAM
550watt cap ayam power supply. (Have been replaced around 1 year ago.
Nzxt x40 AIO water cooling

Been running overclocking on/off for two years+. No issue. Now the pc totally unable boot at all. I tried clean power on/off/reboot. Pull out the power cable/re-seat the bios battery. Still cannot. No sign at all. No fan spinning, no sound, no beep code. But the AIO water cooling CPU block have LED light (blinking).

So.... if u r in my position now, what will u do? Power supply? Motherboard? or CPU?

Induce labour before due date

I been told by doc that if the baby still not come out yet near the due date then we have to go for induce labor. Is this true? Anyone have experience?

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask. I just subscribed Maxis Casual Surfer 68 with Portafi modem MF70. Everything seems fine until i try connect using my smartphone (HTC One X). The modem connection will disconnect/restart (3G LED "red") whenever my smartphone connecting to it. Here is my environment and what i tried;

1. The modem powered by USB port/power socket/power bank. (All provide the same results)
2. The modem work perfectly when notebook connect to it. (WiFi&3G led blue light blinking).
3. Once my smartphone try to connect then the modem LED will go off and "red" led at 3G indicator.
4. I have tried to check my HTC ONE X wifi setting. Changed Wifi frequency band to 5GHz or 2.4GHz also same.

Please advise.

My 4 years old car getting a lot of watermark and hairline scratches. Tried to go detailing shop for windscreen treatment but they told me it cant be removed. The mark is like fog at wiper line.

Annoying sound at rear seat

weird sound after changed brake pad

I have changed my brake pad front and rear last week and since then my car got weird sound (eeee~~) whenever i brake. I though it was normal at first because its still new. Can any sifu tell me what should i do and is it normal? My car is new honda city and the brake pad is bendix metal king titanium. Thanks.
