As much as Johoreans could appreciate this one time off gesture of RM3,000.00 which is the country’s money, I’m appalled to learnt about the aftermath TMJ had left behind. No sense of responsibility or ethics to consider the problems and such nuisance. There should have better foresight. You could have just bought the whole items at Aeon and get People to just take what they need. That would stop wastage and there won’t be nonsense like this.

I can imagine the frustration and disappointment the people of Aeon will have to clean up. This is truly very irresponsible.

You can’t say you use the profit to cover back the losses. It doesn’t and shouldn’t work that way.

I have done the PACA training. Besides providing/contributing funds (which I have/am to current) What else? Know any constituency that might be seeking for a dedicated person that wouldn't mind going the miles. Legit ways yea.

Prefer not in Subang because Subang has already got a lot of good talents. So, I prefer to be sent out or any neighboring that I might be able to assist them.

Dear residents of KL and beyond,

Did you know that when Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) residents failed to get the stay order against the proposed Taman Rimba Kiara project in court, the developer's lawyer saw it fit to ask for higher costs in court, saying it is 'not a public interest case'?

For defending Taman Rimba and their neighbourhood, the TTDI resident's association (RA) and respective parties have to fork out an additional RM40,000 on top of their legal fees.

Let it be known that the developers behind this, Malton Bhd and Pavilion Group, are intending to destroy a public park with well-documented living heritage for profit, and that they would punish the residents for defending it by asking for higher costs.

All this maliciousness is whitewashed and glossed over by using the longhouse to justify this mega project. The same spin and messaging is constantly repeated by the Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, known as Ku Nan, to frame this simplistically and misleadingly as an issue of longhouse versus TTDI residents.

Instead of acknowledging how DBKL failed to provide permanent housing as promised to the longhouse residents for the past 30 years, this failure is used to justify another wrongdoing of massive proportions which is irreversible in nature.

This monstrous development that takes away half the park to fund it is not the solution, but clearly a profit-making exercise in complete disregard to the entire KL population when they spent millions of our tax monies to draft a KL city plan with no intention to follow it.

In fact, why are we even paying assessment fees? What does DBKL do with their billions in budget that we are not privy to, that they have to resort to such a destructive project, and nurture immense ill-will from the public? All that to fund a low-cost housing? I don't think so.

As KL-ites, are you not enraged that the FT minister tells us publicly at a town hall meeting that 'Taman Rimba will not be touched', when he leads Yayasan FT that has already taken half of Taman Rimba to be sold to a so-called developer?

The likes of Malton Bhd do not deserve to be called developers, as developers regenerate old urban areas, or land purposely marked for development according to a city plan.

Destroying living heritage is unacceptable

Taking and destroying a rare public park in KL with living heritage and negatively impacting the existing community despite strong objections, is not development; it is permanent destruction and immense profit for a few at the expense of an irreplaceable park and the community, neighbourhood, and homes.

Do not be an apologist or doubt for a moment that there are 'reasons for how things work' and that there is nothing we can do about it. It is precisely this attitude that has enabled a system that breeds unaccountable public officials and irresponsible 'developers'.

They will whitewash and distract the media and public from the crux of the matter by bringing up all sorts of non-issues. They have no shame in using the longhouse community to justify the project, or suggest that the public is being manipulated in our actions, but they have never answered how the seller, buyer, and approving body of that land involved the same people in DBKL and the FT minister.

Our public officials and local authorities are paving the way for an unsustainable pattern of destruction that will inevitably receive pushback from residents as land becomes scarce. It will eventually become everyone's backyard problem.

More than a park in TTDI at stake

Know that this is not just about a park in TTDI, or a few parties unhappy with unsightly buildings; it is a pivotal initiative against land grabs and an end to the pattern of secretly traded land that ends up with residents always being on the losing end.

This is about holding local authorities accountable. It is as much about fixing it systemically as it is about defending unjust developments in your own backyard. Enough is enough.

Let’s translate our anger into meaningful action; make our voice heard everywhere. Let us flood the news and make it known what we think of the developers and the public officials they work in cahoots with.

Perhaps they expect and do not mind a few hundred residents protesting in the park, but they have not seen all of KL coming together. Public opinion influences foreign investments and popularity of our dear FT minister before the next elections.

Therefore, we must support all initiatives. Protest. Let’s support each other in defending our neighbourhoods and keeping the authorities and businesses accountable.

All of KL residents, neighbourhoods, resident associations, please come together. We were told this is not a public interest case. Let us show them that it is.

I know I made a mistake to offer kindness to this person whom told me a sad story about how his wife left him because he abused her and his depression and anxiety problems and in high medication due to acid reflux. I took pity and encourage him that life can better.

It's a trivial matter to begin with and he asked me a favour if he can get a S8+ through my existing maxis plan although he said he has money but don't want to come out so much one shot. Agreed to pay me 7th of every month rm170 for two years. Out of goodwill, I offered my kindness to him knowing he might not be able to afford one. He told me he would pay up if I choose to leave Maxis and now that I want to leave maxis/ change plan BUT he refused to pay up n instead say I owe him n there's nothing He owed me. He's trying to be a bully this 40+ year old ungrateful piece of shit.

He says he will come to disturb my dad n neighbour because the way I talk to him rudely like as though he is so entitled even though he bites the hands that feeds him. Mistook my kindness n goodness and think he could take such advantage.

He threaten to appear at my family home at 7pm tomorrow 15/8 and I really hope he does so I can ask n take back my money.

His built is some apek with a hopeless face and he is just plain bullying. Idk what stroke of bad luck of people I try to help.

In fact if he comes, I will ask him to pay me back rm3470(phone commitment) .

He only had made one payment on 7th July -rm170.

According to him, his background is from JB and stay in Seremban. Got a leasehold apartment - Regalia, USJ.
Always plays golf and clients buy shares through him. Reflecting back, what a bullshit.

Thought I was helping a depression person to get on with life since is he so old, manatau he is this ungrateful screw up old hag !

UPDATE TO CLARIFY AS AT 15.8.2017 , 4.30pm.

To begin with, I understand some of you will judge and call out stupid/idiot/fool. I do not think that is a fair presumption to do so. The definition of a conman is that he pursuaded me to believe he is indeed in need and no one to begin with in their right mind would offer such an extensive help to a stranger/person you hardly know. He appeared at first to be someone reasonable thus gaining my trust and that now, I tell myself that I have to strike that balance within me.

I hope through my sharing, I am able to deter others because sometimes you may be the victim unknowingly. From this post alone , some of you faced the same problem too.

I have two maxis line under me of which I let my cousin to use my second line. The reason why I had to tell him subsequently I want to cancel my maxis is so to press on his conscience of what he previously told me that he will pay in full if ever that happens( since he claimed that money is never a concern to him).

From subsequent encounter(after signing up the phone in July) , I realised he is a hot tempered person and he would scream and yell like a lunatic. Bipolar. Even as you read the texts subsequently, he addressed himself as 'he' but in fact it's him.

I have more messages of him saying he wants to disturb my dad and the peace of my neighbourhood like a hooligan, knowing my dad is still mourning for my late mother since may. My dad , nor my family has anything to do with him and I regret showing him my registered company address which is my family place of residence.

He thinks he can bully the weak. He thinks he's entitled. But anyway, I am sharing this today as a precautionary measure for others and incase anyone ever had been a victim or is acquainted with him.

Samsung S8+ is still with him, he is still owing me rm3600-rm170= RM2430. Suppose to pay 7th of every month starting July but have only yet paid in July.
