Recycling Clothes

Guys, I've done closet cleaning last week. Now I'm wondering if there is any recycling centre for Used Clothes around Wangsa Maju, or in KL?

Googling doesn't help much, all of the centre is either closed or link provided is broken.

马来西亚成天都在争论着马来人能不能碰狗。
大家的答案永远都不同。
不过今天，我碰巧在网上发现了一堆相片，
是一个Johor的人在fb上载的。。
好像是说一个Sekolah Agama正在教导他们的学生怎样才是正确的对代狗。
据我所知，马来宗教有说过，他们是觉得狗狗肮脏，所以避免用湿的手去摸，免得把肮脏带回家里，如果手是干的，那就没问题。而且狗狗是神的创造，所以不应该歧视它们。

- touching dog and pig is permitted, and not a sin.
- if touch dog in dry condition contacts, no need to do cleansing (sertu), unless in wet condition only sertu
- if touch pig in dry/wet, need to sertu

Broken AAG Cable wont be fixed till next month

Broken AAG Cable Won’t Be Repaired Until Next Month

FPT Telecom general director, Nguyen Van Khoa, told Thanh Nien that repairs to the Asia-America Gateway Cable would not be completed until October 6.

Khoa added that technicians have identified the broken segment just off the coast of Hong Kong but have been unable to begin repairs due to Typhoon Kalmaegi which swept across the East Sea this week.

Vietnamese Internet service providers, FPT Telecom, VNPT, Viettel and SPT said that they are using backup cables to mitigate the effects of the break. However, access to international websites is noticeably slower than usual.

TechinAsia reports that these disruptions have both monetary and personal consequences for Vietnam:

“It’s no doubt that Vietnam’s internet cable being cut causes millions of dollars in losses in productivity for Vietnamese businesses across the country. This is especially impactful for companies that depend on a strong internet line to keep in touch with business partners abroad. But it also impacts everybody in Vietnam with an internet connection.”

While it’s admirable that 150-year-old technology is still relied upon today, perhaps telecoms should either seek out a more consistent solution given how often these breaks occur or build additional cables.

FB Admin Persatuan Kongsi Gelap arrested

KUALA LUMPUR: A man believed to be the admin for a parody Facebook page with the name “Persatuan Kongsi Gelap Melayu” has been arrest under the Sedition Act 1948.

Syafiq Abdul Wahid was arrested at his home at 3am and was taken to the Serdang police station.

According to his lawyer Michelle Yesudas, Syafiq will be remanded for three days.

“The investigating officer told me that the police would seek to extend the remand on Sunday,” she said.

The Facebook page has received 5,503 Likes as at 5.05pm.

Earlier today, student activist Adam Adli Abd Halim was found guilty at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court for a speech containing seditious slurs in Kuala Lumpur in May, 2013.

He was sentenced to a year’s jail but his defense team have obtained a stay order on the basis that they will be appealing against the sentence and conviction.

- It can save your kid's life
- You are actually giving them more freedom to walk around, touch things, crawl and try new stuff on their own, but at a distance that is safe
- For hyper kids, this might come useful

What happens next is astonishing: An enormous frozen, icy hunk of our planet suddenly opens, splits into bits and then sinks right before our eyes into the sea. It happens so, so quickly. And the scale of it? That's the part that shocked me. When they superimpose part of Manhattan Island onto the ice at the end of the clip, you think, "Uh oh." This is a peek into something monstrous.

The video comes from photographer James Balog's film, . The two guys on the bluff at the beginning are part of Balog's Extreme Ice Survey team, which maintains scores of time-lapse cameras overlooking glaciers in Greenland, Iceland, Alaska, Canada, the Rockies and the Himalayas. During daylight hours, they watch and record. Then they share what they see with scientists and National Geographic, and turn the footage into movies and TV shows.

Anyone have ever got their Steam account hijacked?
I'm recovering mine now, but no news yet.

Weird, how they can actually change my email address, without the code sent from Steam to my email.
The email notification from Steam is still unread, so my best bet is the hijacker didnt know my email details.
