Changing to larger sink

Hi all,

I have just got keys to my first property and it comes with a built in kitchen. I don’t mind it but the sink is terribly small and not sufficient for my usage.

The contractor I’ve spoken to have said that it’s risky to cut and have suggested me to remodel the entire kitchen.

Does anyone have any experience with this or contractor contacts that could help to switch to a larger and deeper sink?

Seems very expensive and wasteful to me if I am required to throw the entire kitchen countertop and storage just to fit my sink.

Hi there,

I'm currently looking to buy a used car, for my first car, but since I'm quite a newbie to cars, I'd like to ask some of the sifus here for some recommendation.

My price range would be ~20k. Or ~30k if I can get a loan for it.

My concerns would be car maintenance, fuel consumption, comfort, and power. In that order.

So far I have surveyed around and am probably considering this few :
- Proton Satria
- Proton Satria SE
- Proton Satria GTi
- Proton Putra
- Honda Accord

Would anyone be kind enough to help a brother out? Or if there are any cars that I should be looking for as well?

Upgrading processor

Current rig:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7200
Gigabyte EP43-DS3
2 x 2GB DDR2 OCZ Gold OCZ2G10662G
ATI HD 5850
CM Hyper212+
SilverStone ST50F

I'm looking to upgrade my processor. But I don't know which would be better, going C2D or C2Q. I'm not planning to upgrade anything else (mobo, ram, psu). Current PSU is Silverstone ST50F 500W.

I'm looking towards C2Q actually, but worried if my PSU doesn't supply enough power.

Which would be a better choice? Going C2D or C2Q? And which processor would be best value for money currently?

Bottleneck issues?

Hi there,

I'm currently running on:
C2D E7200 (OC 3.2GHz)
4GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM
HIS Radeon HD5850
ST50F 500W

My proc was running 2.53GHz earlier but have overclocked to minimize the bottleneck issues. I'm currently still running on a stock cooler for my CPU. The thing is, I still find that the full potential of the graphic card isn't utilized fully.

My question is, should i get a new external CPU cooler and try to over-clock some more, or upgrade my processor? If possible, I would like to eliminate(or minimize) the bottleneck issue with the lowest amount of money spent. Please state down the model of cooler or processor and if possible, the price too. I'm kinda low on budget already.

Upgrading rig/graphic card

Gigabyte EP43-DS3
Intel C2D E7200
2G DDR2
9500 GT
500W Cap Ayam PSU

I was planning to upgrade my graphic card to the new ATI 5850 + PSU + RAM + casing.

What do you guys think? Should I go for something lower end instead?

Hello there,

I'm currently running a C2D 7200 @ 2.53 GHz, 2 GB Ram, 9500 GT on a cap ayam PSU. I'm planning to upgrade into a GTX 260, but still having some doubts in my head.

Would my rig be bottlenecked by the less-than-awesome processor I'm running?
How much power should my PSU be supplying? will a ST56F be enough?

Help with Robot Simulation Program C++

hi, i'm currently working on a project on robot simulation program using c++ and i need some guidance to proceed with my work.

firstly, what does this program do? well in an closed 2d area, the "robot" is supposed to move from 1 point to another point. it reads the movement steps from a text file and moves based on the orders given.

for example, in the text file it could be written:
R 5
U 10
which means to move right 5 steps and up 10 steps.

now here is where my problem begins, how am i to read the file and execute the command?

i can't read it as a char/int data as it wouldn't be able to read the steps completely and follow through the command.

any comments or effort to help would be greatly appreciated.
