[WTA] What's wrong with my motherboard ?

Few days ago found my PC unable to boot up. When I press the Power button, can see the fan spin awhile, 1 sec later it turned off then on again, looping. So I suspect is my PSU (7 yrs old) is dead. I did try jump start my PSU, it works, but I have doubts so I bought a new PSU, still the same repeated on off.
Then unplug everything, left CPU, mobo and one RAM, still the same briefly on 1 second then off, repeatedly. Now I suspect is the motherboard failing, so I unplug the CPU and RAM, same thing happens. So can I say is the motherboard problem?

My setup is on my siggy. Any sifu advice? Thanks.

Hi guys, I've subscribed Celcom 3G broadband (World Cup edition) on 28 June 2010, and I've just received from the USB 3G modem an SMS asking me to pay my bill. But I've not yet receive any email or any hard-copy bill. Some more I subscribed for Rm98 package, but the bill stated is Rm134.15

So I called the 1300111000, they claimed the Rm134.15 includes one time Rm10 stamping fee and Rm20++ Pro rate ... WTF is pro rate? He claimed every first payment will have this, as they dunno when will be the first bill started. I feel Celcom is cheating people money with this. Anyone has this experience before?

And I got the account and phone number of the b.band from the cust care, but how do I verify it's mine? LOL. Really bad service they got .. but at least their broadband is faster than others.

I have a PC and laptop, both running Windows 7. I have a LAN cable, both has Bluetooth.

My question is how do I setup to allow internet sharing from the PC to the laptop?

Hi all, I am using Firefox 3.6 on multiple locations, ie. my PC and office laptop. I used to use FEBE plugin to backup and restore to "sync" it. But it's not a good way to do it after I've added new bookmarks on here and there.

I have now 2~3 sets of bookmarks Is there a plugin/service to sync all my bookmarks to one list instead?

I'm an intermediate Java developer, recently my company provides me with a Macbook (Snow Leopard + Win7 on Bootcamp) and an iPhone 3GS to do iPhone R&D. But seems Objective-C is different and will take more time to learn, I propose to do Android instead. So my boss agreed and ask me to get an Android phone (company pays) then do R&D on Android.

What I know the main differences are:
- Registration Apple USD$99, Android USD$25.
- Objective-C vs Java.
- Apple reserves the right to approve/disapprove the apps.

My dilemma is, shall I go for the Android or shall I give iPhone development a try before I switch. I know my heart is on Android though hahaha
Hopefully those iPhone/Android sifus can give me some heads up on the advantages and disadvantages of both. Any other issues kindly share with me.

Hi all, my hire purchase from RHB has a 12 digit account number.

So far I have been paying through the RHB branch counter. But last month I was told they only allow 5k above transaction for the counter.

Below 5k use cash deposit machine. Does cash deposit machine accept Rm1? Cos I need to pay Rm763.

Do I need to round up to pay and calculate every time? Just so troublesome.

Any more convenient ways for me to pay, can I use CIMB click to pay it?

Hi all, new here just got my new rig (see my siggy) not really geng but should be good enuf for me.

Wanna ask, I used RealTemp and Prime95 to check the CPU temperature roughly (42c idle) and (73c 100% for 10mins). Is it acceptable?

Found that the RealTemp/CoreTemp have same temperature readings but are different from the Asus PC probe II / BIOS Temp (which has a higher reading), which reading should I trust? Do I need to calibrate my sensors or what? Hope someone can enlighten me. Very long time no play with desktop stuff liao.

BTW, Sorry I'm using my office laptop so no picture to show yet. Will post some tonite.

Road Tax/Insurance Renewal via MyEG Service

Today I went to MyEG service website after hearing my colleague said can try to renew my road tax. After browsing through their website, FAQs and form, looks not bad. So I give it a go, came home dig out my car particulars and info, try to apply it. Well, first it ask for insurance, so I choose RHB Insurance, filled up the form, pay through FPX, clicked return to FPX, dunno is it hanged or can't load a particular page ... oh shit ! Checked my bank balance, OMG payment went through, but without directing me back to their page. Then I tried to renew my road tax, it said I have no valid insurance. I was like WTF ... I paid already.
Luckily I printed the payment details screen. Called up the helpdesk, auto reply said office hour 9am~7pm. So I emailed to them, got a reply said someone will get back to me tomorrow.

So this is my first and bad experience with MyEG, come come share your experiences on MyEG Service. Has anyone renewed their road tax or insurance successfully ?

How to install multi MySQL in Linux?

Hi all, I'm kind of new to linux and need help seriously. I have MySQL5.0 installed in Fedora 10 using Yum. And now I want to install a separate MySQL5.1. I know I can't install it straight else it will overwrite/upgrade the existing. I should configure a new port and make a new directory for the new installation right? But just don't how to do it using commands.

Does anyone have a step by step guide on it? Thanks.

Spot the difference in the two pages? First one is when I visit www.cimbclicks.com.my, the second one is after a F5 (refresh) from the IE8.
It seems like a glitch in IE8 Firefox and Chrome has no problem though .... Anyone had this too?

Hi, got a prob here ... is there anyway to disable Itunes sync with IPod? Coz if I format my PC then it will auto delete all the files inside the IPod, hahaha.
