ESXi auto shutdown with Neuropower UPS

Hello Guys,

I have a HP tower server installed with the following details:

- VMware ESXi 5.5 (free license)
- 1 Windows 8 VM

I recently bought a UPS brand name is Neuropower Titan RT, model : NP-Titan RT 1K

Objective : Shutdown VM before ESXi host when UPS Battery capacity at certain 10%
Software : WinPower 4.5

Problem : It won't shut down the ESXi host or the VM.

I tried to install vMA to modify the config to call the host to shut down but it wasn't working.
The guide i have said its for VMware ESXi paid version, and i got answer from supplier say WinPower doesn't support custom script like PowerChute.

Anyone has any solution or used Neuropower UPS with free ESXi before can help me?

Graphic card load game map not instant

Hi Guys,

Anyone has this same or similar issue as mine? I had this issue since the last graphic card.

Old card : ASUS ATI RADEON HD5870
New card : ASUS ATI RADEON HD7870

When i enter any portals, i should load the map "instantly". However everytime after my PC restarting. I can no longer load map instantly, it will become taking 3 seconds or longer time to load map.

If i uninstall and reinstall my graphic card driver (using catalyst control center), it will fix the issue...
I always update the ATI CC version to latest...so..i am not sure what is the real issue that is causing this..anyone can help?

My new HD7870 Graphicc card in FF14

Changed to HD7870 2 days ago, the game runs smoothly after changed. No lag at all during fate fight, mounting, or running in big city. From standard to max graphic setting.

After shut down pc and play ff14 again on the next day. The serious lag is returned. FPS in the city from below 10-20+ up n down when i m moving..
Changed my graphic card to optimized performance on Catalyst center already, and my CC + driver are latest version too.

Anything i can do to fix? Its annoying.

HD7870 Card FPS problem

Hello, just changed new Asus HD7870 2 days ago, my HD5870 was too old had massive lag.

After changed to 7870 it runs smoothly, no lag in the big city or fate anymore. I can play even maximum graphic setting.

But problem occurs after i shut down pc.

The fps lag problem returned....although it is not as lag as before..but when i ride on chocobo then the lag will be worse..
Tried to change to "standard (desktop) setting but the lag is still not fixed.

Even i set my graphic card to optimized setting, and in FF14 game system conf - graphic setting - ticked enable HDR rendering and improve overall graphic quality still the same.
Before i shut down my pc, my alt tab from game to desktop n back is like instant, now it takes as long as when i was using my 5870....

Anyone can tell me what to do?

Any Cisco software equal to HP ProCurve Manager

Hello, anyone know if any of the Cisco management software has the feature like HP ProCurve Manager?

That i can keep track and detect if there is any network problem causing by the devices. I can look for the IP/Mac-address easily and go to the device.

Can Cisco Configuration Assistant does this? Or any others from Cisco?

Hi all, i am planning to buy a new laptop for work, saw one from Acer but it comes along with Windows 8 Single language.

Google-ed saw only pro edition can join domain.

Can someone confirm that SL also same as home premium/below pro edition which not able to join domain?

Also, SL not possible to upgrade to pro right. Unless i clean install and insert my windows 8 pro promotion code?

ATI HD5870 resolution problem

Hi Hi there. I just DIY a system today unfortunately i am having problem with my resolution.

I have ASUS ATI HD5870 1GB DDR3 256bits graphic card
Monitor is my Samsung 32" Series 6 LED TV
Cable is HDMI to HDMI

I tried to set my resolution to 1920x1080 wide and 1776x1000 wide after i installed my system.

However, all the fonts on the browsers, system, in game (world of warcraft) are blur, like you can see pixel. As for the 1920x1080, my desktop will not auto adjust to fit the LED TV size, the task bar is like sank into the bottom of the TV by 50% and cant see my start button.

I have latest ATI driver and control panel installed, 64bits version bcoz i am using win7 ultimate 64bits. I tried to set the cleartype setting already still cannot fix the problem. By right, this card should be powerful enough to support 1920x1080...

Other than that, my card seems like having low FPS in game as well..i have already set the game setting to lowest but still having FPS lag during raid.

Hello there, i have some questions regarding to Oracle SQL queries, i tried to do it but i can't get it done, hope some of the tutors here can help me to correct.

The relational model for the database is:

Department(DeptNum, Descrip, Instname, DeptName, State, Postcode)
Academic(AcNum, DeptNum, FamName, GiveName, Initials, Title)
Paper(PaNum, Title)
Author(PaNum, AcNum)
Field(FieldNum, ID, Title)
Interest(FieldNum, AcNum, Descrip)

1st question :
Among the academics who have no papers, who has the greatest number of interests? List the AcNum,FamName, and GiveName of the academic.

I got this to find out the academics who don't have papers which is required by the previous question :

Now if i want to find the greatest number of interest, i should modify it to use ALL? Beucase i try max_count doesnt work.

I tried this earlier too :

Hello.

My friend has a HP brand tablet pc model TX1000.

She left her laptop case closed while she went to uni, after came back home she found out that she couldn't use the laptop because the screen is blank even the laptop has power on.

We tried to take off the battery, use the powercord, press the power button for 30secs, reseat the RAM and etc but still couldn't fix the problem. We press the "quick play" button,the laptop will "wakeup" but the screen shows nothing.

Is it the laptop "die" already? How to fix it? Anyone can help because she has assignments to do so it is very urgent..thanks

i was invited by my cousin to play my trial version account few months ago.

And i juz upgraded the trial version to real active account 3 days ago through online worldofwarcraft official website.

After i paid and upgraded, i can play immediately. But i never received an email from the wow official website about the information and a link to download the full game exe installer.

Are they giving us the link? Or we have to search for ourselves.

I searched in the official website, but couldn't get the download link.

It is not worth that we paid and din't receive the download link.
