Can anyone tell me if there's bus from Kelana Jaya LRT station to Kota Damansara? I need to go to Sunway Giza in particular.

or if there's a better way eg direct bus from Kuala Lumpur to Sunway Giza?

Formula to calculate interest

Hi,

I surrendered my insu policy which i have not paid the premium for many years. So the insurance company deducted the annual premium from the cash value as a loan ("APL") at 8% pa interest.

They calculated my surrender value and deducted the APL plus interest. I was shocked at the amount of interest and requested that they show me how the figures are calculated.

After 2 months and a threat of complaining to Bank Negara, then they emailed a schedule showing the APL, the interest per month and the balance WITHOUT SHOWING HOW THE FIGURES WERE CALCULATED which was what i had asked for in writing and reminded many times.

I reminded them again that i wanted the actual calculation showing how the interest figure is derived.

They claim the calculation is complicated and not for (stupid) laypersons like me.

I would like to use a lot of foul language on them - am sooooo angry with the bastards but am not used to such language *pity*

Can anyone give me the formula for 8% per annum interest on monthly rests. I presume that it is monthly rest because they show an interest figure per month.

My own calculation is not even close to their figures.

[No formula is given for calculation of the cash value because it's a trade secret of some sort - what a wonderful thing insurance is eh???]
