Giving away my used item

I'm moving out from my current house in a few days and I've got some item such as used clothes, shoes, sandals, and maybe some used books/magazines.
Do you guys have any idea where should I bring it to ? A recycle place or maybe as a donation to somewhere.
It's such a waste if I just trow it to the trash bin.
There are still a lot of people need something to wear, something to put on their feet, and knowledge.
Just anywhere around KL should be fine.
