Hi All, I've googled this forum on this topic and found the threads were quite outdated. Hence I created this as I really need to see one soon for my sinus and also some problems on my tonsil.

Read a lot of reviews of Dr. Koay at Sunway but I would like to see if there's any other good doctors to go to as Sunway is a lil inconvenient for me to go to...

Kindly share and help.. Thanks

Disclosure of pay slip to prospective employers

Hi everyone, just would like to know if it's a common practice to disclose your pay slip(s) and benefits of your current company to your prospective employer in order for them to give you an offer.. Is this always the case? If it is, how many months of pay slip would you normally provide?

Thanks..

Hotlink keeps deducting my credit!

Hi all BB gurus...

I'm a new 9700 user and I have a huge prob here I subscribed to Hotlink's BIS day plan 2 days ago but decided to terminate it after that. However i noticed that my credit is still being deducted even after deactivatiing the service! When i dial *100# to check on my status.. it states that im not connected to BIS.. But when i check on my BB, it says BIS is connected to mobile network! And the BB logo is still there!! The logo should only appear when u have subscribed to BIS rite??

I tried calling Hotlink many times and spoke to a few of their CS staff but none of them could offer me a solution!! First i was told that i need to turn of data services, in order to prevent gprs from running and hence, sucking up the credit. But then i said that before subscribing to BIS, I was using mobile internet and no extra credit was being deducted, even after the plan has expired/ i cancelled the plan. I only paid for what i used and my data was turn on all the time!!

Anyone has any idea whats happening and what i should do?? Would it be possible that apps like BBM, FB for BB and Yahoo mail for BB are the culprits in causing this?? Coz i downloaded those apps during the activation period of my BIS... If yes how should i solve this problem?

PLEASE HELP ME

THANK YOU.

Problems with default gateway settings

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx

Personal equipment
Modem: Huawei
Router: Netgear

Problem details
First occurence of problem: 3 days ago
Problem frequency: lately

Hello people.. i've been experiencing this problem for the past 3 days, i thought it was Streamyx's fault at first but then i found out it's my own laptop's wireless connection problem as i am able to access to the internet using an ethernet cable, and also my sis is also able to access to the internet using her laptop (we share the same wireless network).

The problem started with me getting disconnected from the internet all of a sudden, disconnected in the sense that the status of my wireless states connected, yet i cant access to websites. Then when i troubleshoot my msn, it says my default gateway is set offline (although i did not mess with any of the configuration in my notebook, router and modem). I even checked with a print screen copy of my router settings i always keep, with the current one by logging in my router's setting page, but all the settings are still the same...

I did google and read up a bit on default gateway settings and performed an ipconfig, but that's where i'm stuck as i'm unable to understand all the details.
