Hi guys,

Whenever I turned on the air conditioner or even the TV, my house blacks out.

I have to switch the main switch again for the electricity to come back.

This happened only recently and my neighbors are not affected. Anyone have similar experience?

Today I left my car 2~3 hours with the lights on(the brighter low beam light), when I came back the car won't start because the battery was drained. I had to push-start my car.

I just bought the maintenance-free type battery yesterday, so did I just reduced the battery's lifespan by a large factor by over discharging it today? I read somewhere that the battery should be kept at 90% to 100% charge.

Problem description:

One of my housemate keeps doing heavy downloading and hogs the connection, making my browsing slow and also lags my online gaming.

My question is how to set a bandwidth limit on his ip/line so he won't hog all the connection. And also can this be achieve using my router settings or I need some kind of software.

Any people here with experience can enlighten me?

Cannot display chinese character in applications

The chinese characters are displayed well on my browsers but not in applications like windows media player and notepad.

I've installed the East Asian language thing in Regional and Language options in Control Panel. What more should I do to display them correctly in every application?

By the way what programs/plugins do you guys use to display the .lrc lyrics file in windows media player?

Question about cooling a Graphic card

Hi I'm new in these field.
I'm trying to put a fan(the RM19.90 gold colour round fan sold in IT Hypermarket) into a Geforce2 MX400 whos fan can't spin anymore.

Apparently the fan I bought is attached to the heatspreader, and the graphic card's heatspreader is like permanently glued to the processor.

So I have to put the fan with the heatspreader on top of the processor's heatspreader? If I do so I need some thermal grease right? Do computer shops sell them?
Or is there some way I could remove the processor's heatspreader?
