Are Desktops able to be on for 24hour even its like 3-4years old?

Are Modems able to be on for 24hours?

Will they be overheated or what?

What should I do after upgrading my Streamyx.

Hello all, I would like to ask that after I upgrade my Streamyx from 512kbps to 1mbps what should i do? Because I cheked the website of Tmnet and it says Upgrade complete but when i use speedtest it still shows 512kbps speed. I tried restarted my modem also. Any idea how?

I don't know if this is a wrong section, if yes im sorry
