all in one printer/scanner and print server

Hi,, i'm using a laptop at home connecting to streamyx via a linksys wireless router. just bought canon mp160 all in one printer/scanner. becos my laptop floats everywhere in the house the intention is to connect to the printer/scanner wirelessly (the printer/scanner is at at fixed location). A couple of questions:-

1) am thinking of using a print server, the print server can connect to my wireless router. question is how much would a print server normally costs?

2) can the print server cater for the scanning function as well, considering the printer/scanner is all in one hardware?

3) any other alternative to connect to this printer/scanner wirelsessly? Maybe is there such thing as bluetooth device to connect USB to USB? (since the printer connects to laptop via usb)

any help appreciated.. a newbie in this.

Cheers,,,,

How to use Prolink Hurricane 9000G as router only

Modem cum Router: Prolink Hurricane 9000G

This router is all in one - mine stright by lightning, so the modem kong. But has tested the wireless router capability, still ok as still can connect to the network - 2 PC tested networking both wireless and wired still ok.

Question : any way to setup to make this router work as a router only i.e. buy separate modem and connect to the router?

Or can throw already? Or is it repairable?

Thnks.
