[WTA] New rig recommendation

Hi all, need some recommendations to build a new rig.

Work : Programming, Database, Local App Hosting..etc.
Gaming : Mostly dota 2, maybe some online games

Currently using Asus A45S (I think, not sure bout the model, something alike Jay Chou Series Laptop) with following specs :

i5 2450 processor (Not too sure bout this also, but definitely i5, cant check now, not at home)
Nvidia 610M
6G RAM

Experiencing spikes during Dota 2, and slowness at work.

Was looking forward to get a desktop for better performance.

Hi all,

Went to view a house via an agent, owner advise for direct deal instead of agent.
In the middle of somewhere the agent got to know the deal went on privately, now the agent asking for money from owner.
Due to that, its turning the purchase became extremely tedious and tiring.

Concerns:
1. Reliability for this problematic property purchase, give up or proceed ?
2. Enraged agent threaten owner for money.
Questions:
1. Is there any terms and condition says that direct deal with owner shouldn't exist with the present of agent ?
2. Agent threatening to says that he know someone in the bank to trace the loan application for this property and could do something about it, is there any agency that accepts complain of such threatening ?
3. This is my first property, I wouldn't want something happen to it legally or illegally , any advice ?

Any advise would be highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

[WTA]Dell Desktop hard disk spoiled

Hi, my office's Dell desktop had spoiled last week, I've called up the Dell guy about it, they would come tomorrow for the hdd replacement, and they mentioned that they will leave the old hdd for me for backup in 14 days.

I did some search and found this thread : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1361395/all

Now, few doubts in my head are,
1. As they replaced the new hdd for me, does it comes with OS installed ?
(As mentioned on the old thread, I may need it to be booted as secondary drive.)

2. Whats the step to backup my old hdd ?
(When I called the Dell guy up, they asked for the error code, and they responded its still recoverable. but I do need the exact steps for this, never do this before.)

3. How about the previous software installed in my old hdd, is there anyway I could recover them into my new hdd ?
(As I got urgent task on going, wouldn't wish to consume time on this part.)

Hi, currently got new job in UOA tower, the reserved parking slots for the unit are taken.
Been Pavilion, they reserve only for their staff,
Antarabangsa, they demolishing next year,
Kenanga, reserved for their own staff too,
Menara KH seems too far, Menara StandChart also..

Looking for nearby covered parking for my car, Preferable flat rate, or season pass, any suggestion ?

Curve 9360 heats up easily ?

Just got my BB Curve 9360 few days ago, anyhow i realize that whenever im using browser, call, or some other apps, it heats up and battery goes down v fast. It is truly heated on the keypad part.
I do close my app whenever im done using it.

Anyone here has any idea bout it ?

Topic tells all, was going to buy new rig, but for certain games I am playing still got dc issues with vista, win7.
Well of course the new rig is not just for gaming, mainly will used to do rendering, most likely programming.
So far, never experienced on using win7 and vista for rendering and gaming yet..
Any shifus here could clarify for me or reveal knowledge about others os ?
