Car just got rammed, seeking for advice

So..I found out that my car, parked outside the office in Glenmarie (Jalan Pelukis), where most and everyone is parking at, got rammed by some idiot lorry.
I think a few components must be damaged now. I still managed to drive home without crashing the car into dividers so thank god for that.

Anyway, here's the pictures:

The point of impact is rear right rims and wheel arch

Bumper is damaged. Looking for the Mugen RR rear right wheel arch replacement kit too, anyone know who is selling them, please let me know.

Now..From this picture you can see how bad the impact was, causing the whole rear right wheel to "toe-in" in an extreme angle. This is where I worried the most. Is the wheel hub damaged? The Camber kit? The suspension? The chassis itself? D:

Now this is the front left wheel, the impact was so great the whole car got moved and the front left wheel hit the curb, damaging the rim and screwed up the alignment.

I also noticed the C pillar's paint flaked and damaged, so the car/lorry must be very tall.

I'm in a dilemma now, I'm not entirely sure what and where the hell I should start. Though I'll get it to the nearest tyre shop and assess the damage. Hopefully nothing beyond the suspension/chassis is damaged :/

Rims/Tyre/Paint all these can be fixed easily.

Any advice and suggestion is welcome, I need your help.

Irregular SSD performance

Hello folks, my laptop (Alienware M15x) has been acting up very weird since last year.

The symptoms are:
Slow loading speed
Frequent hang and BSOD
Intermittent auto-restart
Extremely slow boot time that can take any time from 1 minutes up to 10 minutes or it just stuck at the boot screen,
Fans emitting irregular noises and vibration
GPU overheating

Now that's an impressive list of problems that can happen on one single laptop (And it costs me RM9k+)

I called up Dell to get most of these fixed on the January 2013 because that's when I got back from the UK.
The parts replaced was the GPU, both processor and GPU fans and the mobo.
So that solved some of the problems, except the slow loading speed, frequent hang and slow boot time.
I didn't have a backup computers back then so I had to deal with the problems.

Now something serious happened, the slow loading/boot up time and frequent programs hanging became so unbearable it's no longer usable I had to restore the laptop back to its factory's setting (Reformat if you will) but same problem persisted, slow boot up time and whatnot.

I did some test on the SSD and these are the results:

Something has got to be wrong with this kind of result on a SSD.
And a quick google assured me that.

I called up Dell again today and found that now their after sales service become so bad it reminds me of the good old Screamyx tech support.
I explained the problems and I was asked to run the diagnostics. Turns out that the optical drive and touchpad is fried as well, the operator noted that down and I was told a replacement for the optical drive, touchpad and mobo will be arranged. I mentioned the SSD problem but he said since no error was detected during the diagnostic, he can't do anything.

So that's it, they won't admit that it's the part's problem as long as it don't show up as error in their Diagnostics. What can I do now?
Because anyone sane can tell something is veeeeery wrong with my SSD :/
Not to mentioned I paid almost a grand for this so called "Premier" complete cover warranty. So much for the "Premier" and "Complete Cover".

K&N Drop in or Simota Aerofoam II Intake?

My stock Civic's air filter is due to replacement soon, so I thought, should I try this K&N drop in air filter? Because it sure seemed like it has received a lot of positive feedback.

Then when I look around the internet and look for relevant information, I found this Simota Aerofoam II intake, supposedly to improve the car performance too. It is also more expensive than the K&N drop in, but let's just say budget is not a problem, can any sifu here explain the different and point me to the right direction?

[WTA] Suitability of tyre and rims

Greeting folks, I'm planning to change my rims to another style and color with different specs and I'm confused at the choices I have.

Currently, the spec of the tyre (GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3) that I'm using is 225/45/R17 on a 17"x7JJ ET45 rims.
The tread on the tyre is still very fresh even after 2 years of using it, I did only 20k-25k on the tyre so it'd be a waste to change the tyre so soon.

So what I'm thinking now is, how will the tyre looks like if, say I change it to a 17"x8.5JJ ET35 rims, will there be any problems? I have always thought that the tyre looks too big for a 7JJ rims and as a result it looks very odd, the rims "sinks" into the tyre lol. Also I want the wheel to be aligned with the fender and I'm installing a 330mm big brake kit soon, thus the ET35. I am aware that doing so will potentially cause the tyre to rub on the fender but that's not my main concern, yet.

Finally, I am totally new to the rims/tyre market in Klang/Rawang/Kepong. I stay in Kepong but I heard that buying rims or tyre are much cheaper in Klang/Rawang. So it'd be great if anyone can point me to the right direction

Usage of composite materials and adhesive

I've tried searching high and low on the internet but I can't seems to find anything relevant somehow.
I could find Aluminum's but not Composites..funny

Failed to connect to a windows service

So..I have no idea what actually happened and what causes this to happened..
This has resulted in extremely slow startup and occasionally freeze on shutdown.
I've tried googling and tried out some solution but no avail.

Tried uninstalling MSE, didn't helped.
Tried netsh winsock reset, didn't helped too.

I've tried running hijackthis and got an error.

Failed to connect to a Windows Service

So..I have no idea what actually happened and what causes this to happened..
I've tried googling and tried out some solution but no avail.

I have disabled system restore so that is not an option now.
Tried uninstalling MSE, didn't helped.
Tried netsh winsock reset, didn't helped too.

Any idea?

I've tried running hijackthis and got an error.

How is car being tracked in Circuit/Track

Hey guys, I was just wondering, how is a track car in a racing track or rally course being tracked?
Do they use any sort of tracking devices?

I've watch a couple of those rally racing or race in circuit but never knew how they are tracked others than the video cameras that are constantly filming them...

Turning a wireless router into an access point

So, I'm now living in a campus dorm, and internet is provided by the campus.
It's a system called "ResNet" (Resident Network).
Basically there is a ethernet port in the room, I connect that port to my laptop's ethernet, then logon to the network with provided username and password, I can access to the internet.

Now, in this situation, I can't get any of my wireless devices ie phone, PSP or even laptop to work wireless.
So I bought a wireless router modem, BT home 2.0 (bought this from a flea market for 4 pounds lol) and tried making the router to work as an access point for my devices.

The connection:-
Ethernet port of the room > Router Modem's ethernet port 1
Router Modem's ethernet port 2 > Laptop's ethernet port

It still works normally for internet but for some funny reason (Maybe something conflicted?) and I can't access to the router modem's web access (192.168.1.254).
If I remove the campus's ethernet, just letting my laptop connected to the router, then I could access to the web command using 192.168.1.254.

Access point could be detected by all of my devices, but none of them can access to the internet. (I need to logon to the network first, ie my psp, internet browser would work but not for Online Infrastructure mode as I can't logon to the ResNet.)

So...I'm at a lost now :/
I sort of gave up because I'm thinking this is due to the behavior of the Campus's internet system.
My conclusion would be..Every single wireless device will need to use internet browser to logon to the ResNet first to gain access to internet. (My phone and Laptop worked that way)
But for PSP..there's no way for it to work.

I guess..back to square one. I need to make my laptop an access point so my psp can connect to it without logging on to the network as my laptop has already connected to the system.

Google Chrome stuttering

I'm not too sure since when this has started happening nor what I did that caused this.
It just happened all of sudden and it won't go away :/

The symptoms are simple...google chrome will just freezes up every 5 second, it doesn't crash though, when a tab froze up, I can actually still jump to another tab.
It's very annoying lol. Just opening this thread and chrome has froze up more than 10 times >.>

Every froze would take 2-3 second to recover..
Tried reinstalling , no avail tho :/
Tried the Chrome troubleshooting too, all passed and no problem was found.

Others than chrome stuttering, everything is running fine on my laptop. IE8, firefox is all working fine.

My laptop's spec if you think it's gonna be useful
i7 740QM
8GB RAM
128GB SSD
Win7 Ultimate
ATi mobility 5850
