Hello. i'll be doing video & motion graphic projects soon. i did some research on the net and found some specs for the pc. but most of them are way too expensive for me. (quad core xeon, macpro )
i'll be using after effects and premiere alot. my questions are:

1. what should i invest more in; processor or graphic card?

2. intel vs amd? i can get amd quad core at around rm500 while intel's quad core is around rm600

3. do i really need a quadro or any graphic card with openGL and lots of video ram enough?

4. should i go with 64 bit windows? i know 64bit os will let me use more rams but for small projects i think 3GB of ram is enough, or am i wrong?

5. can anyone suggest a budget pc around rm2k for my task. this wud include the following:
- processor
- motherboard
- ram
- psu
- graphic card
- hdd

i'll be upgrading my current p4 system so i dont need casing, monitor, kboard & mouse. maybe if got extra budget i wanna get a decent 2.1 speaker

here's what i'm currently looking into:

C2D E8400 / Quad Q6600 / Phenom X4 9850 / Athlon 64 X2 7750 (and spend more on something else)
4x 1GB DDR2 value ram
