Hi guys,

I'd like to connect my Smart TV to my router with a LAN cable, but I only have one network cable in my wall. Currently it's being used to connect my router to the modem.

I have the current set up in my home as the following:

Can anyone advise what's the best way for me to achieve that? The idea is to get a stable connection for my Smart TV for airplay.

I'd like to settle some issues with my unifi account but I'm physically overseas. Is there any alternative numbers other than 100 and the 1800/1300 numbers?

I've tried the +603 2241 1290 but it doesn't seems like a valid number. Please help

PSU problem

Yesterday I got back the Acbel PSU which I sent for warranty. It cannot boot up the computer, only fans are spinning. It works after I put in back to the CPU, however, today when I tried to boot up the computer, it doesn't work anymore. Same problem occur. Any clue?

My desktop's spec:
- Phenom X4 9850 BE
- Asus M2A-MVP
- 9600GT (Forgot what brand) 6 pin external power required

Setting up IIS 7 on DIR-615

I don't know whether this is right section, but since it is network related so I've decided to post here.

I'm hosting a IIS 7 web server on D-link DIR 615, done port forwarding, windows firewall rules added. I can access the web server from internal network (within the same ip range) but not from external network. Any clue? Thanks in advance.

Desktop cannot boot up.. no beep sound. no screen.

Hi all, I have a problem after i upgraded my old desktop with a new graphic card. The screen is showing nothing, the CPU fan, graphic card fan and PSU fan is running and onboard LED is lighted up.

My motherboard spec is ASUS M4A-MVP, Socket AM2 and AMD 480x Chipset.
My new installed graphic card is XFX HD 5550.

btw, is that PCI-E 2.1 graphic card can runs on PCI-E 1.0 motherboard?

Replace RTC battery

Hi all, I've an old laptop, Compaq B1200 and I need to change the RTC battery.
I took it to hp center and the hp guy told me that I have to change the motherboard in order to replace to RTC battery.
Is that true?

update database problem

I'm doing an inventory management system with vb.net where in the database,
it has itemcode and description as data components.

In my program, I've a listbox (showing the description of item) which allows user to select an item and 2 textboxes will show the selected item's itemcode and description.

When I'm trying to update the description in the database with my program (no problem with updating itemcode), it give me this error

Concurrency violation: the UpdateCommand affected 0 of the expected 1 records.

So, i think the problem is caused by listbox which reading the description details and prevent it from being updated.

Listbox SelectedIndex always -1

hi all, i'm trying to select an item in the listbox where the listbox read data from an access database.
however, whenever i use SelectedIndex, it always give me -1 for all the items in the listbox.
So, i google it and found that it might be the problem on databinding the listbox and i've to use IsPostBack in order to get back my selected value.

Problem is, why visual studio showing that IsPostBack is not declared even included the System.Web.UI ?

Battery faulty? HP dv4

Hello all, I've a problem with my HP dv4, just brought for 4 months this year. Recently, the windows keep showing a red cross on the battery icon in the tray menu. Showing message "Consider replacing your battery." Isn't really the battery spoiled? but I just got my laptop few months ago...

p/s: using windows 7

Cannot boot up computer

Hi all, I've a problem with my desktop computer which cannot boot up for unknown reason.
Neither the Power LED nor HDD Loading LED do not light up. However the PSU fan is working.

My desktop spec:
AMD Athlon64 x2 4000+
Sapphire Radeon X1950GT
Seagate 250GB HDD
ASUS M2A-MVP

laptop wireless problem

Hi all, my HP dv4 with Intel 5100 AGN wireless network card having disconnection while:
- laptop just started
- wake up from standby mode
- i moved my laptop

it dc although i'm just beside my wireless router. I don't have any problems with my desktop wireless (with aztech wl320usb) and my mobile phone's wifi.

my router model = zyxel p-320w
using vista sp2 32bit on my laptop.

Wamp problem

I cannot connect to my home server through my externet ip while i have no problem when i connecting with localhost.
I also have checked my port 80 with canyouseeme.org and it's no problem at all. (means i've sucessful bypass the ports so dun remind me for port forwarding)
When i test with port 80, it says is currently used by :

Can anyone tell me what happened actually?
Addition, it works sometimes even i did nothing
I also checked with my httpd.conf and no problem with it. (using port 80)
