http://forum.lowyat.net/ Sun, 14 Jun 2026 02:19:22 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1572111 Hi,i need some perceptions/thoughts on my case.<br /><br />I renewed my road tax 4 months ago and it is still valid till May of 2011.However,i got pulled over by a cop car today,the cops told me that i was driving without a road tax.I told them that wasnt true,i have renewed my road tax and they can check the sticker.They checked the sticker,then told me that the road tax is a fake,n they charged me with forging the road tax sticker and accused me of driving a stolen car.They even said that they never seen a serial number on a road tax ending with &quot;8687&quot;,claims as if they were forged.<br /><br />The car is mine,i renewed the road tax at Pejabat pos.<br /><br />They even called JPJ Putrajaya at 9pm,Jpj Putrajaya also confirmed that my car&#39;s road tax is a fake as they do not have the data in their database.<br /><br />My question is,can Pejabat Pos give-out fake Road taxes? or is my road tax hasnt been updated yet into the jpj system? or if the clerk there entered wrong details about my car info onto the jpj system,or simply the Cops were just trying to cari makan?<br /><br />The cops told me around 6-7 times that they have the power to put me in Jail for stealing,forging road tax and had to take my car back to the police station.At first,they wanted to bring me and the car to Balai Polis UPTOWN,then an hour later they say that they will bring the car n me to Balai Polis Damansara Perdana.<br /><br />anyway,after around 1 hour of them questioning me,telling me they have the power to get me in jail n all,they let me go though,telling me to go to JPJ to sort out this matter. inquisz The Fast &amp; The Furious Thu, 23 Sep 2010 04:24:51 +0800
