hello! i am a self taught freelance web designer and i was wondering if someone could teach me how to write a resume?
the problem i am facing is that i am still an undergraduate in university year 1.....and have not much work experience other that completing some works for companies around the world (found on other forums). i dont have much work to include in my portfolio...as most of my previous accomplished works just don't seem up to the standards for me....

so my question is...should i include those works that doesnt look so nice? and for my resume...how should i list out my working experience? should i list out the previous assignments one by one or just some of the important ones?

please tell me what you think.

I am a Cambridge A-level student waiting for my results that would come out at January 21st, and I have applied for the Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering course at MMU not long ago.....and I have received the offer letter today.
To my surprise I have been offered Foundation in Information Technology. I phoned the Admissions office and the receptionist told me she herself do not know the exact reason for this. She said it might be because i have not met the entry requirements for the Software engineering course.....where i have used my forecast results to apply and my results as following:

Physics : C
General Paper: A
Pure Maths: B
Further Maths: C

the receptionist suggested i wait for my actual results to come out and make an appeal.
what are the requirements to enter the software engineering bachelor's degree course can anyone tell me? have anyone faced this kind of problems before? ant the offer letter requires me to reply if i accept the offer by 31st DECEMBER 2008....and its jan 8th now.

please guide me on what to do? i don't wanna spend another year studying foundation....
