Urgent help needed!

Hi everyone,

Last year, I sold my apartment and my lawyer told me that she has submitted the RPTG form to LHDN. (Via a copy of letter from them to LHDN stating that they have sent the form via courier service). I have since then, move to another condo and was waiting for a letter of notification to say that my RPTG is waived (Since my apartment is 7 years old, counting from S&P date).

However, to my surprise, I received a court notification letter to say that I owe LHDN some 40K for the sale of my apartment and that because I did not pay them in time (Of course, the earlier letter was sent to my old apartment which I have sold!), a court case has been brought against me and I will be barred from leaving the country until I paid the tax & the summon.

Any lawyers can advise me what had possibly happened and how can I rectify this. Appreciate any kind advice.

Buying 3rd property

Hi everyone,

Need advice. Is it possible to secure a personal loan of RM200k to pay for a shop lot down payment while waiting for my current property loan to be cleared (Sales process completed)?

I will be earning 250K from sales of my current property, going to sign S&P next week and buyer bank loan already approved as well. I estimate that it will take around 2 months for me to get the money but in the meantime, I want to buy a shop lot which I need to fork out about 200K for down payment. Should I get a personal loan first? Do they require any collaterals as condition to approve my loan? Is there penalty if I settle the loan in 3 months time?

Appreciate any advice, thanks.

Hi everyone,

Need help. I am currently selling both of my properties under my name (One just my name and another is shared with my hubby). My question is, it is possible for me to buy another property with 10% deposit instead of 30% if I have not concluded both my current sales process?

Property A : Redemption done, waiting for deed of receipt & reassignment
Property B : Signing S&P next week

Appreciate any advice given, thanks.
