One of my family car (Vios) regular has flat battery due to not driving it in pandemic period. I saw a number of online solar panel come with ciggy plug.

Can i attached the solar to the vios via ciggy port to prolong the car battery charge?
What will be the correct rating (10W, 50W etc) for a Vios?

Hi people,

I need your guidance on how to configure my Outlook 365. I can get it to send and receive email from my regular Gmail and Hotmail with IMAP/SMTP setting. The Outlook not able to connect to my office Gmail.

The problem is the Gmail account I use for office (free_gmail@gmail.com). The office Gmail has been configured with “Send Mail As (Use Gmail to send from your other email addresses)” to send and receive using a domain name. It works in Gmail web where all email that is sent to me@domain.org can be received in free_gmail@gmail.com (check using web Gmail), and all recipient will see my reply coming from me@domain.org if I reply in the Gmail web.

In Gmail’s “Send mail as:” setting this is how it look like:-

me<free_gmail@gmail.com>
Reply-to address: me@domain.org

me< me@domain.org> (default)
Mail is sent through: smtp.gmail.com
Secured connection on port 587 using TLS

When replying to a message:
Reply from the same address the message was sent to

Hi,

I am looking at using Mautic since Hubspot is too expensive for my venture (at least for this stage).
I am looking for a simple CRM, sales funneling and functions that will help the sales conversion.

Saying so, Mautic seems to be a big learning curve to setup.

Anyone using Mautic or other similar software that willing to share your experience or advice?
Will using Mautic on either AWS or Azures free 1st-year limited license.
I have some IT background but no programming knowledge.

Breach of PDPA by Astro (Serious)

Hi,

I still receive Astro appointed debt collection agent call depict the account was closed. I can't recall the termination years, but that was before 2008.
The bill was 100% cleared during the termination as the system does not allow closing of the account if there is pending of payment (similar to telco's SOP).

What happened was 2 year upon closing the account, I start to receive a request for payment from Astro (direct from their office) which Astro have no record nor explanation what is the due amount for. Astro also acknowledges it is not possible to close the account if there is pending payment.

Moving to the present, I still receive Astro's debt agent call time to time.

Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) (Malaysia) was enforced circa 2011.
If we have terminated our Astro subscription prior 2011, yet still receive calls from Astro appointed 3rd party debt collection call, does it means Astro have breached our PDPA since there is no consent from the us that Astro may pass our detail to external parties?

Appreciate any advice.

Hi,

I am not legal background and having hard time to understand PDPA.
Appreciate anyone can advise me on this for my assignment.

1. For a startup company that helps client company to solve a certain operational problem, part of the process will be receiving client company's customer data. Does this consider breaching of PDPA?

Example
-a bank pass the client data to 3rd party cloud storage company where the cloud company will store the data in fast and slow storage depend on last transaction (in this case the storage company will access the bank's data) ;
-a company upload all the transaction data to an online BI company that help the company to create annual campaign or segmentation list.
-a legal firm that sends all the legal softcopy letter to 3rd party company that print and snail mail the letter to the recipient (legal document need black n white register mail).
-a pay2view TV company send the outstanding client list to debt collection company where the debt collector will read and contact subscribers.

2. My understanding from reading the legal publication* there is a registration process for certain industry; so does it mean a startup whom interest to develop new venture in these segment need to register with the PDPA body?

Do your xps hv shutter problem?

My new XPS15 (i7 7700/8GB/FHD) having some serious shuttering.

All drivers (Intel Graphic/Nvidia/Killer Wifi) been updated to latest as per suggested in most website. Tried all setting suggested in first two page from Google on this issue. improved but the occasional shutter still there

Appreciate if anyone can let me know if u manage to get a shutter free xps15 or this is a common problem...
