Hello all,

I'm currently working in Hong Kong but looking to buy a property in Malaysia mainly for investment. Is it possible to get 90% from local banks? My friend in PBB told me they can't approve 90% given the fact that I work overseas and the property is for investment . I'm still checking with other banks but hope to get some opinions here too!

Thank you!!

Jogging in winter

Hi guys, I'm studying in the UK and I am planning to start jogging. Before I came to UK i did work out quite often. I go to gym, I do cardio, swimming and some weights. I was about 70kg when i first came here in Jan 08. Then my weight started to climb up and reached 75 in July. Tend to eat more when it's cold and only doing basic exercises such as push up, crunches. I went back to Malaysia from July-Sept and started my workout session again. I worked out almost everyday. Jogging, swimming, some weights lifting and for god's sake I even took fat burner but my weight jumped to 78kg. Indeed disappointing. I ate lesser when I was in Msia and I eliminate my junk food consumption. I know appearance is more accurate than weight but it just stuck in my head and I'm still fat! Now i'm back in UK and doing zero cardio except for walking to the market or university. I still do push up and crunches. My housemate has a set of dumbbell but one of them is broken All I can do is bicep curl with that. I wanted to join a gym but they are all so expensive!! Now i'm planning to jog in the morning and stick to my basic work out at home but the weather is soooo cold and it keeps raining and it makes me just wanna stay in my room. Any alternative for that?

Some history of my weight...I was a fat kid since young and highest was about 90kg in 2004. I started to work out in 2006 and my weight dropped to about 70kg in early 2008.

Thanks a lot for reading and i appreciate any advice...

should i take my master

hey,

im graduating my BSc in Accounting n Finance in June n my parents want me to take a Master after that.after doing some research,my counsellor told me that it is advisable to concentrate in accounting or finance.however,IMO taking Master in Accounting is kinda silly(no offence) bcoz i can just go for ACCA and i don like and cant do well in finance(i just passed my corporate finance..just passed n i hate it)so the problem now is that i don know what subject to take.im applying for marketing as my alternative but it might be difficult to get in bcoz mostly they require degree in business related subj.in fact i regret taking my current degree bcoz i realized i like statistics(too late to change though )

so should i take finance or don take at all n get a MBA later on?they want me to get a master in any subject now so that it will be easier for me to apply for MBA nxt time. or get another degree in stats which take another 3 years..

urgh...this is so confusing..
