Password recovery | Vista | RAID

Hi guys, need technical assistance here.

A friend of mine sent me an his PC which is running Win Vista, asking me to recover the password coz he forgot.
I tried googling out the solution on retrieving the PASSWORD.

One of the method is using Windows Password Recovery which requesting the OS logical drive.
Using a Win Vista installation disk, tried to find the OS on the disk drive but none is found.
The problem is the disk itself on RAID config and it is not displayed on the repair list.

Anyone can help me on this? Thanks.

Cannot connect to any wifi AP

Hi guys. Need help and advice.
Recently I bought a notebook, Acer Aspire V3-571G.

The problem is I cannot connect to my home wireless network.
It can detect the AP but can't connect, sayin': "Windows unable to connect to <WiFi>"
Tried this hundreds of times. I used the troubleshooting option provided but to no avail.
I check and install the latest driver for the Broadcom wireless device. Still the problem aren't fix.
I even restart the WLAN services in the Windows services option, disabling firewalls and anti-virus.

Strangely enough, when I move the notebook close (few feets away) to the router, it suddenly connects fine to the AP like normal.
But when I move back into my room (just a couple of meters away), it disconnected and unable to connect again (Even though the AP is available to connect).

Being an IT technician myself doesn't makes me able to solve many problems about computers, and I'm not a major in networking either.

Can anyone clarify, advice and suggest anything that can help me solve this problem?

RMA'ed Graphics Card

Got a problem with my 'old' Galaxy 9800GT Low Power GC.
I'd send it to RMA few months ago, and came back with the new low power version.
The thing is, I installed it and went well at first. But then, it started to hang and back to Windows EVERYTIME I play some games (even some simple indie games).

Looked into Windows Event Viewer, there is a warning: "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
I've come across with this issue before and Nvidia tech support told me to reinstall the driver.
I also used many different drivers including BETA drivers as well. NOT WORKING.
In this GC case, I tested run it on 3 PCs and still the problem persist. I think its not the matter of hardwares or softwares. Its the GC itself.

Contacted the company (in Lowyat), told me to come over but I'm unable to go there.
Any reason for this to happen? Is the GC defect or what?

Which mobo is better? For i5 proc

Guys, I've been researching all night long yesterday for these i5 motherboards:

ASUS Maximus III GENE
ASUS P7P55D Deluxe
ASUS P7P55D EVO
ASUS P7P55D-E
MSI P55-GD80

My budget is about RM700+
My required key features are:
-Great OC capability
-SLI support
-convenient ClearCMOS button (on I/O panel or on the board)
-red theme
-great appeal that stands out of the crowd than other boards

I really can't decide right now. Any suggestions would be helpful.

system boot-up fails

yesterday, i was cleaning and reassembling my pc..
then when i try to boot it up again, it doesn't..
no 'beep', not displaying anything, it only powers up..
i try to troubleshoot it, including changing the RAM, GPU, hard disk, clearing CMOS
but still doesn't wanna boot up..
all of the other components were working fine, but i think there is something wrong with my mobo..
is it fried? or something else?
do i need to RMA it?
help me out guys, pls..got work to do..
