Attempt to drive into someone

Hi,

Would like to know what is the law in Malaysia if A allegedly try to drive into B who is a pedestrian ? This happen in a strata neighbourhood and A has been known to be problematic neighbour.

B manages to "escape" and while A was been confronted, the comment is "didn't die also"

I know have to report to police but what is the following up after that? What can we do more ? We have kids and who knows what A might do next ?

Details of the complaint :

I received a buyer request for purchase of Amazon giftcard in Shopee, funny thing is that the buyer is not willing to buy via Shopee but request for private deal. Anyway it was my mistake that i gave him my account number and despite telling him not to bank in for so many times. the buyer still went ahead giving lousy excuses that he is already at the bank etc (this was at 2PM).

Then at night time, sent me a screenshot of payment through internet banking and ask for gift card. I rejected him and he ask for refund to another Maybank Account. (the original fund came from CIMB and account holder has a different name). The whole story just doesn't match up.

I suspect that this fella just ask his buyer to bank in to my account and hoping that I will refund to his own account instead.

How did i find out about this seller in LYN? The transaction details show that the buyer is paying for Amazon LYN and email stated was eqmal10lyn@gmail.com

Posting this as this guy is actually considered my colleague, different office but I do know him personally and sad to hear this news this morning.

Latest development is that they found his car in a kebun durian but nothing inside, car is without damage as well. According to a pak cik in kebun he saw a Malay guy inside the car waiting more than 30 mins and he went up to ask what he was doing there, the guy answer that he is waiting for his friend.

Thin hope but if any of you happen to see what happened yesterday, or even if you seen this person please contact the family / authority.

The family has seek help from Jason Teoh of MCA and they are organizing a search near the location where they found his car.
