Confused with 2.2.1

Can someone tell me whether the latest jailbreak for 2.2.1 includes unlock or not? I mean i don't want to get locked forever, so i downloaded the 2.2.1 ipsw file, which means my baseband will be kept at the 2.28 and not 2.30. even if i do so, would my iphone be unlocked? sorry, i'm quite new to this unlocking section.

Some laptop woes

Well, I recently bought an Acer 6935G at Low Yat 2 weeks ago, everything was quite fine until I updated windows, the acer eaudio management won't start. And also recently there's something wrong with the speakers, they get quite distorted sometimes but it comes and goes, which is very annoying. Apart from that, restarting or resuming from sleep causes the screen resolution to become 800x600, maybe it has something to do with the new nvidia driver but i'm not sure. Any other 6935G users come across this before? This is making me disappointed for the RM4K I dumped for this laptop. Oh ya, is it normal for the bluray drive to become noisy and vibrate so much? its vibrating until my bed vibrates but it only happens to dvd discs, i never encountered this noisy problem with bluray discs.

Sudden drop in performance + lag

I have been using this pc for 3 years now, with no problems with viruses or spyware or anything, I was previously using a Leadtek PX6800GS TDH for 2 years, and this year I switched to ASUS EN8500GT.. I realised on the performance comparison the 6800GS had more juice than 8500GT since its DDR3, but its almost the same.. I have been playing games like COD4 and NFS ProStreet for a few months ago with no lag issues, but around a week ago my computer started to lag in those games, so bad that even 640x480 reso with all low settings cannot help.. i updated my drivers but it only help a bit.. does anyone know why my pc suddenly act like this?
