Audio lag on DD 5.1 - polk magnifi max soundbar

Hello peeps,

I just bought a Polk magnifi max soundbar to complement my panasonic 65ex smart tv.

Set it up, and found that when playing Digital Dolby 5.1 audio, there is a 1-2 secs audio lag, ie on screen i see the explosion, 2 secs later i hear "kaboom"

When i switch off DD 5.1 surround and use PCM stereo, then there is no lag at all. I do this via the tv setting, SPDIF selection, changing from "auto" to "PCM" will remove the audio lag on DD 5.1 sounds but obviously the experience is not as good.

Now, I've researched and tried the following, all to no avail
1. Connect via optical instead of HDMI
2. switch off all video processing features on my tv to reduce delays
3. Turn on/off soundbar

Any help guys?

1. C&C pro coat << this is a nanotech film (3000 MYR)
2. onepro protection film << covers door handles + luggage area + front bumper (900 MYR)
3. mercedes benz DVR << wires all hide inside no need see ugly ugly wire flying around (2000 MYR)
4. COBRA << GPS service (2000 MYR?)

Hi everybody - I recently bought a home and am now in the midst of discussing and shortlisting renovation ideas. So you can imagine the countless saved pictures pictures and ideas we go through (Pinterest all the way!)

Anyway, I stumbled upon this concept of having a faux fireplace at the living room, next to the TV (see attached picture for visualisation). My living room is quite long (about 15ft) so I think it can look quite nice.

A quick question here - does anybody know where I can possible buy/make one of these faux fireplaces? I searched Lazada and they all look ugly.

hello folks - so i went ring hunting yesterday, went to a few shops (goldheart, My Diamond, Diamond & Gold, Wa Chan, Diamond & Platinum), and learnt a few things, but 1 thing I cannot understand is why Wa Chan's diamonds are 20-30% cheaper than the others at least, the only difference is wa chan don't carry specific brands (supplier), where their diamonds are just GIA certified. other shops have brands like hemera, lumiere, etc

was hoping if anybody can shed some light on this and help this poor soul out? what should I be looking out for, apart from the 4C & GIA certs.
