Having been working as a technical support engineer/ field support engineer for the past 7 and coming to 8 years, I am just curious to know is this role still in demand especially in the automotive sector?

Currently I have been with my current workplace for just over 5 months and I am starting to feel like this role I have as a service engineer is a little underwhelming and find that the things I am doing being a little mundane and to make matter a little worse, the HR here is so, so weak...

Moving forwards, what other career options do I have if I choose to stick in the technical field?
What about a non-technical role? What kind of options do I have?

Found a similar thread in the Mobilephones section and apparently all these so-called mahkamah calls started many many moons ago.
Even until today, these kind of calls still plague our mobile phone lines.

The start of the phone call is pretty generic voice recording saying:
(Silence for about 1-2 seconds after picking up the call) Ini adalah panggilan dari mahkamah...

So don't fall for it

Hi guys,

The matter of Ethernet over RS485 usage with a distance of more than 100m has been on my head for quite sometime already.

I want to ask and if there are any experts, can I still utilize a RS485 cable as an economical patch cable (Ethernet cable) for data transmission and subsequently for internet connection for distances over 100m? In my case, I have a project site which two communication devices located 280m apart.

Hoping to get some insight.
