i have two 5850 currently

Factory overclocked , 765 core, 1125 memory

and

725core , 1000 memory default.

If i put the xfx card on my pcie 2.0 x16 and sapphire on pcie2.0 x4 , the sapphire not detected.

tried the same thing with sapphire on x16 and xfx on x4 , xfx not detected

any info on how i can fix this? im using 10.10 driver now, used 11.8 also didnt work.

I have a Cooler Master 700 watt Silent Pro Psu.

I am using a 5850 currently that takes its power from two pcie 6 pin direct from psu.

Two 6 pin > Current 5850

I am planning to get another 5850 to crossfire.

Specs of my right is at my signature.

My psu has two empty slots unused, PSU has 4 slot 4 pin molex, i have 2 unused.

Can that two unused power up that another 5850?

What are the options i have ?

Im Using Sapphire ATI 5850 on a acer led 24" monitor,

i put full hd reso 1920x1080 on my desktop but it doesnt maximise to the whole monitor just like a portion the rest of the monitor unused is black.

I solve to problem last time, but forgotten, cause i reformated my com recently.

So how to maximise the windows to the whole monitor?
