Tau sar piah

Wanted to get some tau sar piah... But read the reviews...one came with maggots in the tau sar piah...

I can't fathom how you have maggots in baked goods? Would you still buy from such place? Maybe it was a one-off incident? Or is the hygiene level that terrible and must be avoided?

What's your take on situation like this? Cose one eye, continue to patronise or avoid and banned for life?

which TWS is the better buy? any to avoid/suggest?

my years old TWS is in need of replacing. one side (master) doesn't hold a charge, the other side works just fine. I have used all sorts of TWS before, from cheap to expensive ones (no knock-offs tho). I found that the cheaper ones fulfill my needs just fine, the expensive ones are worth it too but ultimately they both tend to need replacing somewhere around the third year due to the batteries. I have shortlisted the above and will probably be getting them on the next promo (8.8?). I believe they are mostly under rm100, very good value in my opinion.

Any experience/thoughts on these shortlisted candidates?

Mini bar fridge experience

Looking to maybe get a minibar fridge or a small chest freezer/fridge. Something around 60L capacity and a budget of less than RM500.

Only experience with minibars are those in the hotel rooms. As far as i can recall, most are not really that good. Some are just plain bad. Some are really great though. I can't recall the brand of those great ones though.

Anyone with experience owning minibars care to share some insight?

Hisense is rm300
Sharp is rm440
Morgan is 370

I would prefer Panasonic. But, it is above rm500 in my limited online search, making it really hard to justify. Not really keen on Sharp as i have experienced it failing in one of my hotel stay previously. I remember that coz I thought it was a cheapo minibar, but turns out it was Sharp!

For the moment, favourite would be the hisense, followed further away by morgan(chest freezer type).

Appreciate any insight you guys have to share.
Laptop battery bulging replacement

Just noticed that my laptop battery is bulging. Still great battery life though.

Removed it nonetheless to avoid other issues from the bulging. Anyway, surveyed for the replacement. Yeah... I know that it would not be cheap. But to get it directly from dell is a whopping 27% more than from LAZADA/SHOPEE. Admittedly, one is guaranteed quality with a year of warranty whilst the other could be similar item or worse with only 3 months warranty.

I am leaning towards getting it directly from DELL. But, I would love to hear from the rest in case I have overlooked other more viable options.

That said, anyone know where I can get it from DELL physical shop itself? Service centres or shops?
