Hey all

Anyone currently using 'Ring' Doorbell Pro match with standard wired indoor chime?
Mostly local brand comes with 12V transformer output however this Ring required 16v-24v.

Was browsing around and cannot find any brand comes with 16v-24v transformer output.
Unless someone successfully install a 'Ring' ... please share with me your chime brand.

Dyson v11 Kaput

Morning all

Finally, my Dyson v11 not working anymore after 5 years as the motor make 'duhh duhh duhh' sound when press the buttton.

Send it to non-authorized service center and they quote me 900++ to change the motor.
Anyone change the motor by yourself before? Coz I found the motor in Shopee original around 400+ and compatible around 200+ only.
Wanna know if there any successful story here changed the motor before, coz I have all the tools.

Scared to check Dyson service center in TTDI, sure the repair price almost as new.

Currently running on Netgear Orbi Pro SXR80 Router + 1 Mesh. Upgrading as my house still have <10% dead spot.
Eyeing on Netgear Orbi RBRE960B Router + 2 Mesh US set. Anyone know if US set is compatible with our provider here? Im using Unifi now.
Besides the plug need to change to our voltage, do the set can support our region?

Calling all experts, hackers, taliban, whatever you called youself. Need your help on my router setting.
Fall asleep during Network 101 class in MMU last time.

Previously I'm on Time 500mbps + Netgear Nighthawk RAX80 with no issue.

Moved to new place with Unifi 500mbps. For 2 weeks running with Unifi stock router but the performance is very poor to cover 3000sqft.
Today I plan to switch the stock Unifi router to my old RAX80 however keep failing.
Some say this RAX80 is not supporting Unifi.

Can someone help me on this please?

Hi Geng

Korek my old stuff and found my PS3 slim bought when first it launch in Malaysia. Those days I think played for total 10 hours then put it nicely in store. Now my son is 5 years old and I want to introduce him with console game.

The problem is - when turn on the unit beeping 3 times and nothing happen. I open and replaced the thermal paste with new Cooler Master. With extra 3 screws in the end of the day, the unit still give the same symptom. By the way internal organ no dust at all.

Anyone can guide me on this?

DLink AC3200 Router

Set up:

Main Router: DLink AC3200
16 devices connected as wifi client
1 Dlink AC1720 Repeater

Repeater: DLink AC1720
2 Xiaomi wifi camera

Issue:
Since 31st March evening, the main router suffered from intermittent wifi connection issues. At least 3-4 devices all this while no issue with wifi connection require password after the devices move further from the router. The problem is the right password entered will recognize as an error from the main router. Unless the devices move closer (5-7 feet) to the router, the wifi connection works perfectly and require no password.

The Repeater now not working as it located further from the main router.

Do you guys ever experience this issue before? What is the mistake? The virus?

SAMSUNG Smart TV USB issue

I’ve been loyal to SONY since kid and now I gatal change my appetite to Samsung.

Recently bought Samsung UHD 55” TV (UN55HU8550). Donwloaded HD movie from Torrent and for the first time plug in USB drive at the back of the TV and ‘regratted my whole life’ feeling started. TV can’t read USB, detect but cannot read any file. Tried all possible solutions such update TV firmware, reformat USB drive bla bla bla and still cannot.

Browse online and found out Im not the only one here. Seems like it’s normal for Samsung TV can’t read USB but none of the solution online can help me.

Any Samsung user experiences the same? Please share your solution although model not the same probably works for all Samsung TV.

Printer Sharing Issue

I cannot find topic related to this hence I open new one.

I'm using D-Link DIR-890L AC3200 Wifi Router. Recently I try to install a printer to the network so multiple laptop/pc can use it as long as connected to the same router.
The printer is Cannon MF3010 plugged into USB behind the router.
As per D-Link website, user required to install a software 'SharePort Plus' in order to share the same printer with multiple laptop/pc

Done all above however only 1 laptop can connect to the printer. The other 3 laptop even install all the required software are not allow to connect to the printer.

Anyone experience the same issue here? Kindly share your experience and solution.
