I've been eyeing the Samsung Galaxy S7 since it was launched in 2016 but it was over my budget for a phone. Now, their price are more affordable to me but it is hard to get a new SME ones. All I found is refurbished ones and the seller claimed as new. Any advise? Is it any good? Refurbished means used phone but with new parts right?

I want to hire indon handyman to reno my kitchen. Its just a small job so I don't want to hire contractor. Their price will be much expensive.

But I'm also afraid the handyman will not complete the job within time and cost. How to protect myself from that? Can I draft a contract that is legally usable in court so that I can make him keep his promise his end of the bargain?

My house in Kota Damansara and surrounded by hills. I dont use Astro anymore just regular TV using Malaysia Freeview. I use outdoor TV antenna with booster but it seems like hard to get signal with clear picture. I think I need a stronger antenna. How to choose? What to look for in an antenna?

Looking for Water Closet Tank

My old water closet tank break. and the other one the flushing mechanism using plastic and now stuck and cannot use. It is GBH brand old model. I asked the shop no longer have this model but maybe can find compatible model. The inner lid got label for compatible models. Where can I get GBH WC tank only?

The reason I want to replace the tank only instead of replace the whole water closet because I asked several plumbers the cost to change 1 unit is about rm300-500. So, new ones will cost me about RM1200-1500. Plus the water closet also hard to find because the rough in distance is 6 inches only. Need to find those with 150mm-200mm water closet which is not many option and quite expensive.

How much does it usually cost to change old WC to new WC? My old one is s trap 150mm close couple type. I want to change to same type but with 200mm rough in using the offset connector. 1 contractor charged me RM550/pc to change the WC. He said using offset connector more expensive to install. I have no choice since it is hard to fine 150mm wc nowadays.

Is there any disadvantage using water closet's offset connectors? I need to use it because my house is old and it used 6inch (150mm) WC. Its hard to find this WC and my choice is WC range 150mm - 200mm. 200mm one I need to use the offset connector. But I need to know if it is reliable. When I look at it immediately I think about clogging problem since it is not straight.

I wanted to change all my fluorescent light into LED light. I bought a bunch of them from Mr. DIY because they are cheap and I was thinking to DIY install it. Never done it before.

So, does the wiring totally different or I can just connect the existing ceiling wiring with the LED light using the "lego" looking connectors?

Public Islamic Home Loan

I took home loan from Public Islamic Bank early last year. Then in July last year the BLR dropped. I just realized it last month and my installment no change. I asked the banker and she told me if the variant below RM50 than no change. Then I asked, does my tenure reduce? Also no. Then I go back and read the loan agreement. No clause about the minimum RM50. Just it states that the rate will vary depends on the BLR from time to time. Then it states the bank at its discretion can either offer reduce monthly installment or reduce the tenure.

Please some one with similar experience come explain to me. Is this normal practice? FYI, I already email their HQ for clarification on this matter and still waiting for reply.

Suitable antenna for MyTV

I terminated astro early this year and about to terminate my HyppTV this week. So I'm buying a DVB-T2 box to get the MyTV channels. I'm living in Batu Caves and the nearest MyTV broadcasting tower is at Kl Tower which is about 20KM away. I'm looking for an indoor antenna that is strong enough to get the signal with best picture quality. My house is a lower level apartment.

Anyone watching MyTV can suggest indoor antenna with 20KM range?

This cat is really pissing me off . It always pissing at my front door to mark his territory I guess. It's freakin' stinks. I'm gonna chase it with a broom when I catch the culprit.

BTW, how to prevent from cats 'marking' their territory? Is there like 'petua orang dulu2' for this kinda stuff?

FREE Unifi Speed upgrade

I just received an email from TM about Unifi speed upgrade. But the upgrade is not right away. Need to wait for SMS and the upgrade will be between January till June 2017. Has anyone received the email and already got the speed upgrade? How long to wait? I can't wait to enjoy the new speed. 30mbps gonna be awesome.

From Unifi to Maxis

I'm trying to lower my monthly commitment. I'm currently using Unifi 10mbps for RM179/month. Maxis fibre offers the same speed and coverage for RM147 only. According to Budget 2017, all fixed line broadband will enjoy more speed with less price. That means Unifi and Maxis users both will enjoy this right? I read that TM's plan for this is to offer upgrade to next plan with the same price. Since Unifi VIP20 is no more than I will get Unifi Advance 30 next year right? I'm not sure what Maxis plan for this initiative. Will I get 30mbps next year if I subscribe to 10mbps this year? I will be paying RM147 for 30mbps if I take Maxis rather than RM179 for 30mbps if I stay with Unifi. What do you guys think?
