Problem details
First occurence of problem: Wednesday
Problem frequency: 24/7
Problem description:

Steps taken to troubleshoot so far:

1. Router and modem reboot
2. Clear DNS cache on PC
3. Checked all physical connectivity
4. Cleared cache and cookies on PC
5. Attempted different browsers
6. Changed to OpenDNS as opposed to Google DNS.

Steps taken by UNIFI Service Desk

1. Port reset by TM Service Desk
2. Reboot router(manually by myself and I am not on stock router)

For now my Internet speed is back to normal after the port reset, it was running around 0.5Mb/s previously(to TM and Digi Speedtest server). I am also unable to reach the Singtel Speedtest server in Singapore. Pings were very good however.

At current time I am unable to access some websites like Facebook, Malaysiakini, Yahoo and Flickr. Youtube does load but I am unable to stream videos. See traceroute information below.

Some domain names can be resolved but the sites are not loading up.

Hi guys,

For those of you on the Linksys E2500, have you upgraded to the Build 1.0.07 Firmware?

The 1.0.0.5 Build #1 firmware is a custom firmware with VLAN 500 and 600 added for Unifi functionality. My previous experience shows versions post-1.0.0.5 Build #1 actually render the router useless for Unifi.

However, note the changelogs below for 1.0.0.7. VLAN configuration functionality is added to the router. So two things;

Can VLAN 500 & 600 be configured manually post firmware upgrade and if so, via GUI? I've tried a search but the VLAN settings are rather unique to Unifi.

I would flash it to DD-WRT as I still have the DIR-615 somewhere at home but I don't want to risk bricking/screwing anything up needlessly.

Hello guys,

I don't normally frequent these forums and my dad's an audiophile but he's currently away on holiday so I'm poking my head in here instead.

I currently have an idle set of speakers and a sub so I'm now looking to get an amp to plug them all into.

I'm not looking to do anything special, it'll be used to plug in my MP3 player and maybe my desktop occasionally.

Price range is around MYR 150-250.

Like I said, I'm not too fussy about quality. Any recommendations?

It's been a good long while since I've been active here. Things have changed, people have moved on, and things are unclear to me right now. What has happened in the last 2-3 years since I was active?

Are clans like XEF and MBT still active? What about @MP? So many things I'd like to ask but I can't seem to list them down right now.

It'll be good to hear from you guys again, old and new.

I've moved to the UK in the last 2-3 years so playing with you guys will be hard(if not impossible) but if and when I'm back in KL, I think a game or two would be awesome. Don't matter who or what, we should meet up for old times' sake.

hell... we might even have Singapore's snide, conniving version of Simon Cowell(albeit, more kiasu) in some "expert" photographer named Wong. Or Chan.

Now I'd like to stereotype and mention I'd 'love' to watch a group of 7 Singaporeans go arsey over each other's photos down to the nittiest grittiest details. Where even 0.0001mm of OOF can mean the difference between going and staying.

It's come to my attention via Facebook of a possible impersonation/cloning/mistaken identity of a photographer whose wife? also posts in this here forum.

I'm not too sure as to how many of you have met this person in person(pun not intended) before.

From the details I've gathered, someone has been going around promoting this guy as the best cosplay photographer(yes, it has to do with cosplay) in MY/SG.

It could be that this is a case of mistaken identity but I don't know for sure and neither do the people who are talking about this in Facebook.

To put two and two together, the facebook discussion says he's from Singapore. Whereas the one in the FB profiles states Malaysia.

I'm still not convinced though. Information on a profile can be and is regularly faked.

Seeing as we have churches being attacked, and in a show of solidarity with the voices of moderation and reason, i propose we have a PIC-A-DAY spinoff!

Theme : Transcending the boundaries of religion

Outline : To show that not everyone is a racist and bigot as put in the news.

How it works: Post a photo that shows people of various races helping one another. Or Christians helping Muslims, Muslims helping Hindus etc.

Seeing as I'm the one that gave Artefact the heads-up about Setsuna's issue, i feel it's only appropriate that I issue an apology for doing so.

Truth be told, the news would've gotten out and i did what i did as it felt REALLY ridiculous for Setsuna to do such an act. I am sorry that it happened. However, i never really expected such strong reactions both for and against this issue.

Though for obvious reasons, i cannot and will not apologize for the comments issued by those who hate and dissed what Setsuna did, and those who supported what he did.

For those of you who've supported Setsuna in his action, you just dragged the names of Malaysian fans further through the mud. You've given us a bad name and it was already bad with the attempted stalking of Hirano Aya.

For those of you who've railed and ranted against what Setsuna did, please, do not use this as an excuse to bash Malaysian fans of Minorin in general. Setsuna did what he did in the heat of the moment. Do understand that people have done things from time to time when they're not thinking straight. Setsuna himself has admitted to this.

Again, to Setsuna, I truly am sorry for letting Sankaku have a go at you. It wasn't done with any hostile or bad intentions in mind. I just thought it would be lol-worthy.
