car rental from individual

hi,

wanna ask opinion from expert here. My friend rent a car from an individual. (So no agreement whatnot) An old kancil for RM250/wk. He rent it for 2 weeks since last 7th May. So, he already paid for the whole 2 wks. Problem start last monday when the car breakdown in the middle of the road at night time.

The owner then came about an hour later and asked to leave the car there. She then offered to use her other car while the kancil is being repaired. The next day, the owner msg and asked my friend to cover the repair cost. Total RM1k. She said the problem is the alternator but blame my friend for driving even though the car temp is rising (dafuq). My friend said the temp was ok since the meter is no where near H. She then said, the meter temp is broken, sometime working sometime not and blame my friend not to monitor the temp and fill in the water.( dafuq again).

She then asked to return back the viva she gave and want to terminate the rental of the kancil without returning the payment. She even said she is in good gesture offering to pay half of the repair cost. She threatened to report the matter (to police i assume) and even threatened to come over to my friend place and take the car.

Any car rental expert or authority can gv opinion on what to do on this?

i used a YES 4g few years ago. it's a prepaid data. but recently i got a called from their kutip hutang dept say that i owe them RM29. Is it possible u hv a unpaid balance if u r using a PREPAID data?

Are we obliged to give way to the car using siren other than real emergency cars?

1. There was a heavy traffic at MEX, then I saw from my back mirror this black accordana plate num W11T fully tinted using siren to go through traffic. I saw this very same car again 30mins later at Damansara drive like normal ppl with no siren.

2. Ytd I saw this blue black MPV using siren at heavy traffic federal highway. Then I look again it is not a police car but POLIS BANTUAN PUNCAK NIAGA. i like, WTF!

i recently used back my bedframe that was stored for 3 years. day after my 1yo kid slept on it, he got some rashes on his whole body and face. the rash looks like urticaria rash or kelopak garam.

the question is, is it because of bed bug?

if it is, what can i do to clean the bedframe. the bedframe is made of something like divan.

3rd Party Insurance

recently my wife car was hit by a student. its a clear cut her (the student) fault. her insurance is a 3rd party, and what i heard is that u can only claim certain amount of damage and not full coverage hence if i sent my waifu car to Proton workshop, i have to add up some money as the offender's insurance is 3rd party one.

i heard that one can claim, per day compensation as long as ur car is in workshop. can anyone clarify this. thank u.

hi to all of you,

i bought a condo and;

1. the door bell button is beside the door, and after put in grill it is ridiculously far away to push it. By law can we ask the developer to move it where it is accessible, it is consider as defect right?

2. when it is rain water will flood in at the entrance and the sliding door at the balcony. is this consider as default?

3. if there is any crack in any part of the building or somehow the building wall will be like waterfall during rain, the developer should repair it right?

4. if one started 'renovation' e.g put plaster ceiling, grill, cabinet etc, does the defect warranty void immediately?
