Car align to left when brake

Hi all, recently my car having braking problem. This will occur whenever I press the brake pedal. When step on the brake, I can feel the car align to left as well as the steering. Just changed brake pad and skim disc as well, but the problem seems like not resolved yet. Anyone experience the same thing? Anyone can share some thought?

Hi all, wanted to ask for comments / help / suggestions. Below is the scenario:-

Last Friday, a person claimed himself was a staff from BESTA (A Electronic Dictionary's brand) manufacturer. He was ask by the company to collect back the device due to this batch of goods are having problems. Furthermore, the person said that if want to change new model, then need to add RM300, else, wait about an hour for the device to claim. So, my grandmother paid RM150 to the person and after an hour, the person refuse to return the device unless my grandmother pay the remaining balance. So my grandmother ask for his bank account, the funny part is, the person ask my grandmother to buy a 016 Digi Reload worth RM100 and reload to his mobile! Fortunately, my grandmother haven't buy for him.

What can I do to settle this case? My grandmother do not want to lodge a police report! Can anyone suggest some other ways?

I believe that many of the car owners may encounter some gearbox problems and ended up need to change a gearbox. I opening up this thread is to enable car owner or future car owner to have an idea of roughly how much a recond / new gearbox cost.
