Icons discussion for Mac OSX 10.6.4

I'm not sure there's an existing thread/topic about icons questions, coz i've searched but none of them. Hehe.
Therefore, i'm thinking of creating a topic to discuss about the icons and some question of mine =x

I'm using Macbook white with Mac OSX 10.6.4.
As most of the forumers recommend Candybar for icons replacing function, and so, i've downloaded it.
But then, when i've created the collection in my candybar, most of the icons that i downloaded couldn't import to it.
For your information, i used right click on the collection and select 'Import' and follow by 'icons folder'.
All of the icons i've tried are under .icns format but unfortunately some of them couldn't import into candybar.
Anyone know what problem is that?

This is the windows that shows that nothing come out after i select the icons folder to import.
Not only .icns icons, but with icontainer some icons also not imported.

Next, since there's problem to change the icons using candybar, i've google other way to replace icons.
So the other way is to copy the icons and paste on the icons in the 'get info' place.
This things works for most of the icons. But then, i found that when i copied and pasted some of the icons.
The icons shows in the format picture instead of icons itselfs.
Fyi, those icons are in .icns of course.

So these are the question that i've faced when changing icons =(
Can anyone help? pls.

LCD keep on Auto adjusting..NEed Help!

Hi everyone,

I've a BenQ t705 LCD for few years ady. It's connected to my laptop recently.
However, it start to auto adjusting since few days ago..it's quite annoying..
I thought it could be the cable problem so i tighten it up but it still the same.
Anyone experience this problem? Need help! thanks for advanced

Can anyone teach me how to create a java programming to show the ip address when i insert the url?

something like if i key-in the address like <www.contoh.com>
then the program will display the IPV4

and if i key-in ipv6.contoh.com , the program display the IPV6...

It's in JAVA, anyone help?
I'm kinda lost in my course..sigh

Ok guys, i need some opinion here..

I'm now using under Windows system, are planning to buy a new laptop.
I'm confusing between Vaio and MacBook.
There's a question.

I'm an engineering student studying in u now.
software such as MATLAB, C++, Photoshop, CAD and all the engineering software are needed.
So, is it possible to install in MAC OS X or i need to install in the Windows of bootcamp?
am i able to transfer the files to MAC after i done in bootcamp?

Oh ya, rmvb, avi and video files all able to watch in Mac OS X?

Need Mac's user opinion also..hehe
Coz i'm still thinking about switching or not..
