Putting your savings in EPF has higher interest rate compared to banks. Plus can use the money to buy your first house and car. Do you all agree with this? If not, why and what would be a better way to invest your savings.

Please discuss. I need to know where to put my hard earned savings over the last 2 years.
I'm currently working at a 9-5 desk job that doesn’t require much movement. I recently just signed up for a gym membership with one year contract and planning to lose overall body weight (fats!) and get ripped like Ryan Gosling-kind but not Arnold Schwanagger big. Below is a short summary of my weekly routine:

Mon - Fri
7:00am – Wake up
7:30am – Breakfast – Oatmeal with raisin (both organic) and 1 capsule of cod liver oil & multivit
10:00am – 2 bottle of water (0.75l) and snack on 1 packet of Oat Krunch Dark Chocolate biscuit
12:00pm - Lunch @ office cafeteria Malay mixed rice (only stall that is edible) ; 1 fist size rice portion, 1 veg (long bean or cabbage), 1 egg (telur dadar, telur goreng), sometimes
chicken (ayam goreng/ayam kunyit), and mineral water for my drink. After lunch I’ll chew 1/3 of a Wrigley’s gum stick.
3:00pm	- 1 cup of OSK Japanese green tea and sometimes snack on Quaker Chewy Peanut Butter and Chocolate and 2 more bottle of water (0.75l)
7:00pm	- Gym at Celeb Fitness
7:10pm	- Attend a class (Rotate between RPM, Body Combat, Yoga, Body Pump, Power Step)
8:10pm - 1 hour of cardio and weightlifting (different day different machine)
9:30pm	- Back home for dinner (rotate between Nando’s chicken breast [no skin, no extra sauce at the side]with homemade salad with feta cheese and olive oil, Subway sandwich
(no fattening sauces), O’Brien’ sandwich, Oatmeal with berries) with plain water for my drink.
11:00pm - Bedtime

Sat
8:10am - Yoga
9:20am	- 1 Hour cardio
Free and easy - Lunch and dinner I’ll eat anything but with controlled intake (no fast food or deep fried stuff and no obvious unhealthy fattening food)

Sun
9:30am	- Badminton (2 hours)
11:30am	- Breakfast
Free and easy - Eat anything but with controlled intake (no fast food/deep fried/obvious unhealthy
fattening food)

Few Questions

Snacks
1.	Are the snacks I’m consuming healthy? Oat Krunch/Chewing Gum/Quaker Chewy. (If no, what can I replace them with?)
2. Is one bottle of Yakult per day healthy?
3.	What other snacks are healthy that I can consume if I’m hungry at work?

Diet
1.	How’s my diet? What can be improved? What is missing?
2. What other dinner options can I have?

Protein
1.	What protein shake should I take? Do I even need protein shake?
2.	I do consume this (can’t remember the name) it’s Orange color drink. I think it’s call accelerator or something. It helps to increase your stamina/endurance.
3.	What drink/shake would you recommend?

Workout
1.	Any specific workout routine on the web that I can follow to lose weight and build muscle?
2. How do I know if I'm burning enough?
3. With my workout regime, do I really need rest days?

With this lifestyle do you think I would be able to lose weight and gain muscle? Seeking for all professional fitness advice.

Car Door Lock

So my friends and I are having a debate whether or not unlocking a car manually from the passenger seat will damage the central locking mechanism.
Using the picture below for reference, say for example the car is filled with 4 passengers on their way to a petrol station. Upon arriving, the driver has requested passenger #3 to help fill the petrol. So passenger #3 unlocks his door to get out of the car. Does the action of passenger #3 damages the locking mechanism of the car since the door wasn't unlock through using the central locking system?

Please vote and provide your reason for your argument.
