Program too big to fit in memory

Hello ppl,

I was trying to download some sound drivers for an ancient NEC Versa Aptitude notebook, but the file that I pulled off the NEC website doesn't want to run. When the file is run, its supposed to extract some files to the same folder, but all I get is the message "Program too big to fit in memory".

My question is: does anyone know how to make the file run properly, because I've downloaded the file to different computers and they all had that error. I've read somewhere that corrupted files can also cause this error, but other files from the NEC website that I downloaded all seem OK.

I've tried going to the ESS website to try download the Allegro files from there, but files are not compatible.

The files that I need are ESS Allegro XP.
