How to get 5.1 audio from HTPC hdmi to TV?

Hi all sifus,

I'm new into this and after reading thru here and there and i getting more confuse, thus would like to create a thread to clarify all once again

1) What are the method/way to enable 5.1 surround audio to my sharp tv which has srs and dobly powered?
a) htpc hdmi into AV and AV hdmi out to TV to (AV to provide 5.1 audio by all hdmi connection)
- using Sony e380
b) htpc hdmi into TV and optical audio cable out to AV(AV to provide 5.1 audio by optical audio connection)
- using sony e290

2)I'm using branded PC as my HTPC with build in graphic and audio card. So I wonder if i could use 1b) as my budget setup[no hdmi input, very normal receiver with bd player] instead of 1a)[that have hdmi input Av system)?

3) what are the meaning in the ads saying that my tv has srs and dobly powered? (my tv has USB direct player), is that means that my TV able to encode the USB source and transmit it to AV for 5.1 audio? or i still need the AV to encode the USB source for 5.1 audio?

4) Or, Is advisable to buy a PC's 5.1 speaker and connect the 5.1 audio out? but by that it defeat the purpose of transmitting the video using hdmi to my tv, am i right?

5) How to check whether the downloaded files(mkv, rmvb..or or. is equip with surrounded audio format?

6) If I going to practice the 1b) will I face any loss/bad/laggy audio out from my AV? [ personally prefer 1b, budget ma ]

Hi All Bro and Sis,

It's been 6 years back since i stop playing guitar both acoustic and electric

I started learning guitar and 2003 and become a lil ' hands on @ 2004 and was able to play fav songs like 'enter sandman' after a few dasy of practise using the fav old time guitarpro software with tab

at year 2005 i am getting busier and my yamaha low end ..(shd be pacifica type) and my little small marshall amp together Zoom XX effect(forget) was left out underneath my bed frame, included 3 acoustic guitar i have all under bed frame
since then, i never play guitar..i always told myself..1 day if have time, i sure will try to rock back

yesterday night i go and have a look on 4 of my guitar, none of the string was in good shape, all putus..haih

and have a look at the noob pick-up..all karat..

begin of that, i am wondering how am able to play back guitar

1)do i need to go and repair the e.guitar i have? or is advisable to look for a cheap 1?

2)old liao..not young lioa..cannot rock lioa.. e guitar better to concentrate on or acoustic guitar?..if acoustic..i plan to buy a decent..at least..can last longer

3)what or which website/software u gusy use to manupulate the tab right now., last time was guitartab(good for beginner)- how about now 2012(soon)

HTC device Vs Normal 240v to USB charger

Hi all,

a quick question..
a)possible to use normal mini usb cable(that not original from htc) to connect to pc/charger?..

b)can we use 240v to USB port converter charger(pasar malam type) to charge our HTC device?

any1 tried it before?kindly share it..it's that harmful to HTC device?

..for example..if we used the not origin cable from apple to charge iphone..it will cause damage ...how about htc?

First of all, I’m person who always hang on skype and sometimes on my phone during afterwork life

well, I need to source some kind USB Bluetooth headphone which fulfilled below requirement

1)Can Switch seamlessly between mobile phone and PC
2)Plug and play USB Bluetooth connectivity for your PC
3)If possible ,use USB source as charger
4) good sound quality(can use to listen to mp3 ),and good delivery sounds.

Apparently ,some people may recommend me to use USB Bluetooth connection then buy a simple Bluetooth headphone which can be use both way. Yes it does, but…
IT can switch between mobile phone and PC so easily!

So,forum-er ,if you got any idea which brand/where to buy /recommend headphone that fulfilled above requirements please kindly let me know ,and discuss the feature with URL if possible
