Anyone knows any shop that can fix faulty media player? I know it's cheaper to buy a new one but I have an old Eaget that can record and they don't make these anymore.

Much appreciated for any info. Thanks

Developer's dirty tricks

This is not a vendetta against developers, just an eye opener for us purchasers before signing the SPA. I assume most of us here are purchasers.

Just a summary of all those issues in this forum that has been brought up compiled for easier reading. I'll start the ball rolling with 3 but please feel free to extend the list!

1. UOA/Setapak Green - chain link fencing instead of brick wall
2. UOA/Scenaria* - chain link fencing instead of brick wall
3. SDB/Windows on The Park* - extra maintainence fee for carpark

4. MKLand/Cyberia Smarthomes - low cost material used
5. UOA/Prima Midah Heights - 580 units with only 6 visitors carpark
6. Peter Holdings Sdn Bhd/Park Avenue 1120 - fully exposed pipes from ceiling to floor in kitchen and bathrooms
7. Taipan Focus Sdn Bhd/Park 51 Residency - extra maintainence fee for carpark plus others (see pg 4 of this thread)

* = under construction

Anybody knows where in the Klang Valley to buy large plastic, decorative pots? Big enough to accomodate a red palm, similar to those used by CIMB Bank in their branches.

Thanks.

Problem with AV amp

To all the sifus out there, would be grateful for your input. Bought Harmon Kardon avr 255 about 18 mths ago. initially ok till 6 mths ago when it automatically switches off after about 60 minutes use watching dvd/blu-rays. Subsequently sent to supplier's base in JB who 'fixed' it. When I got it back, seemed ok but then it switches off after 2 hrs usage. So it's back in JB now and has been there for the past 4 mths.

I'm no expert but it seems to be an overheating problem when I researched on other forums. Would an external laptop cooling fan be useful in this situation?

Also a word of advice. Don't buy any HK products here because their technical staff is totally clueless.
