Advice needed on hiring Python programmers

Hi,

I have been trying to hire full time Python programmers from Malaysia.
Paid for and posted on WOBB, Lowyat Job hiring section, Indeed, multiple smaller jobsites in Malaysia.

The job post I put is for remote work from home, and the salary range, I had tried to put up post for at least RM3K.
Most of the time I put up salary range as RM3-5K, RM5-7K for 2 years experience, which I think is reasonable?

Yet in the end, I just end up going back to Upwork for freelancers because there aren't any good candidates.

Interviewed many, and on-boarded a few of them.
On the first week, we would teach them how to set up the dev env, guide them through our existing code base,
and let them start off with simple coding tasks.
However, none of them lasted more than 1 week.

They would either
- Use my offer letter to get a better salary at their current company.
- Skills written on their resume doesn't match their skills and they would quit within 1 week. ( Resume 5 years Python experience, asking for higher pay, which we match, then when start work, can't do simple tasks)
- Present them with a simple coding task, and then gave us convincing progress by asking us relevant questions, then at the end of week, quit because he can't set up linux.

I haven't tried linkedin or jobstreet yet, since I had already paid for WOBB and felt burned by the lack of candidates there.
Maybe I should also try paying on linkedin and jobstreet?

My initially feeling is that due to COVID-19, programmers are in high demand, so we are left without any good candidates.
But since I have been having so many troubles, I thought maybe the problem lie with my team and my hiring process?
If so, any advice on hiring candidates?

Hi,

I had created an ecommerce website using Shopify one night..
The first 24 hours of opening my shop, I get $10,000 in orders.

I am too overwhelmed by the number of orders and I can't continue anymore.

I did not expect it to be so successful.. I basically made up the whole thing in 2 hours. I was expecting to get only 1 or 2 orders and use that as my side income.

It had caused me a lot of headaches and I am still studying, so I need to focus more time on studying.

Profit margin per item is around 100%.

There's a lot of potential in the item I am selling but I don't know anything about SEO and marketing, so the sales have gone down.

Due to the large amount of orders, I did not have enough time to pack and ship the items causing some customers to complain.
