Change UserProfile Location

hello all windowsmaster,

as the topic above, i really seek for a solution from u guys to help me solve this scenario.

by default, each time other user login to ur computer, windows will automatically create the user's profile in C:\Users\<UsersName>
my question is, how if i want to change the location of C:\Users\<UsersName> into D:\Users\<UsersName> ?
all function is still the same but only in different location of directory. this process is not like changing location of directory for My Document who just we can simply change it in My Document's Properties. because this profile are related with AD (active directory). so i cant simply move this Profile folder to other Drive/partition.

according to Mr Google, ive found 1 solution bout this one which is using command "mklink" in command prompt, but the problem is, this mklink is only use to redirect the folder from C: to D:, tats means there are 2 folder who are in the same size and program, this step is kinda waste of my HDD's space. What im trying to do is to change the profile location from C:\Users\<UsersName> to D:\Users\<UsersName>.

i really appreciate who can help me. thanks and regard.

-ara-
